Worked absolutely perfectly!!
Worked absolutely perfectly!! Last time I changed the battery I lost all the settings, plus the A/C and windows wouldn't respond at all. No idea what the heck that was about till I did an extenseve search, took a few hours to get get things normalized again. Well made sturdy tool. Set the ignition to 'ACC' (pushed starter once), connected the 9 Volt battery and then plugged it into the 'cigarette lighter'. Ten minutes later, voila,, no problemo!! Cheers...

It works.
I liked that it was available, as no one in my area had one. The only similar items cost $54 or $200.Had to have one to change dead battery in car. Without it the radio will not work and a trip to the dealer is required.

The APSG Battery Memory Saver is a simple 5-star device that uses a 9V battery and plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter to provide temporary power when the battery is disconnected. Just make sure the key is in the ACC position or use the start button to put the car in ACC mode!

Memory Saver didn't work!!
Memory Saver didn't work brand new and right out of the package. I put a new 9 volt battery in, the green light came on for a second, then went out. I put another new 9 volt battery in and this thing is totally dead. I lost all my computer settings. Very disappointed in this item.

Not sure if it's me or the device, but it has not worked any time I have used it to save memory settings on my vehicles.

Seems very well made. I'm using it in an RV.
I think that people who report this product that doesn't work probably don't have the accessory switch turned on when they switch their car batteries.I use this on the radio I installed in my RV when I am switching power modes so that I don't lose my radio stations. I just tested it and it worked. I would love it if I could just leave the 9-volt battery attached like in a clock radio, but I am guessing it will just drain. I might test later an update.
