Love this brand and have ordered a few times but even when I put them in a vacuum packed canning jar, the powder in the capsules gets hard and I can't mix it into the slurry for the yoghurt. I have added extra moisture packs and it doesn't matter. I wouldn't want more additives to protect freshness but I now have to put the contents of the capsules in a magic bullet. Same is true for the L Gasseri. Flavor and benefits for the yoghurt is great, just wish the powder would last longer

I use this to make a 36 hour yogurt at 97 degrees. I split a quart of half n half between two qt mason jars with a TBS Inulin and 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream in each jar. EXCELLENT yogurt, delicate and tart taste with a decadent thick Greek consistency, high CFUs, and a happy customer. I store the capsules in the FRIDGE (not freezer), and am glad I used this company's product. Amazing results, obviously high quality and viability, with clean smell and a great monetary value since I can extend usage through easy-to-open capsules. I would not hesitate to purchase more from this company, as a good ferment can NOT be faked by good-smelling fillers!
