Has anyone used this to iron on a small patch to clothing? Does it get hot enough?

Very hot!!! Can burn your fingers quick. Love it for my small quilt pieces

302-356F (150-180C) and 464-545F (240-285C), according to the manufacturer. It's shown in one of the pictures, not the word salad description, and this is reasonable question. I hope this answer is actually helpful.

Has anyone used this with seam sealing tape? How does this iron fair with this application?

Are you talking about lightweight sewing "iron on" tape? Probably will work, but for most uses there, I'd just use a steam iron unless it's some some very intricate work. If you are referring to something like carpet seaming tape, I seriously doubt it. It simply doesn't produce the heat of have the area coverage for that.

can i use this to iron cotton box masks?

It is an iron used in paper foundation quilting. It is very small. It might be too small for ironing masks.
