Good magnification. Small enough to carry in my purse. Now I can read the prices at the grocery store and the menu at a restaurant.

This works fairly well to spot bee larva when doing an inspection of my hives. The light is pretty useless outdoors, but inside it really helps a lot! The small magnifier is really tiny but does let you look at small objects really zommed in. Be sure you don't leave the blue LEDs active as it will kill the battery pretty quick if left on. Good gift for those who need to see up close.

I wanted a compact illuminated magnifying glass to keep next to me on my reading table for reading small print on ads, pill bottles, etc. This unit is a good size and has enough magnification to make it usable without being "jumpy' from too much magnification. I subtracted one star because of the ultraviolet light. I'm not sure why the manufacturer chose to include this feature on this unit, but in daylight conditions the UV light was essentially invisible, which made it easy to set the magnifying glass down with the UV light turned on, using up the battery. I ended up taking the unit apart and snipping the lead to the UV light. So be aware of this feature if you buy this magnifying glass. Hopefully you're not as forgetful as I am and this won't be a problem for you.

I got this for my mom who has a hard time seeing prescription bottle labels and other fine print. So far so good! I don't know if my batteries are dying or the light on it just isn't that strong, so I'll try replacing them when ai can. Either way, it's okay, the actual magnifying glass works for what I got it for. I tried to show in the photos how well it works and the distance of which it does, but not sure it did. Haha Good price too, glad I got it for her!

I'm a hardcore couponer, and honestly, this magnifying glass has become my official sidekick! Some of those tiny letters on coupons are impossible to read, but this little tool solved that problem. The LED lights help a lot when I'm in a store or somewhere with poor lighting, and the magnification is super strong — 10X works for most things, but the 45X is perfect for those ultra-tiny details.It's lightweight, fits in my bag, and totally saved my eyes (and my wallet too, because now I don’t miss any deals!). If you're into saving money like me, trust me — this one’s worth it!

Nice looking & compact but not impressed with the lighting system, I think it is not good enough for Coin viewing. Also, the light switch should be a slider because by moving the magnifier around in a travel bag the light turns on most of the time. UV light useless.

I highly recommended for seniors, people with low vision, or anyone who needs a little help reading fine print. Great value for the price!

Bought this for my elderly mom so she can have it with her to help read menus. It's compact, lights up and works well.
