No More Snoring
As a solo sleeper who struggles with snoring, it's hard to know if a solution is working when you don't have a partner to give you feedback. My issue was always positional snoring—I’d fall asleep on my side but inevitably roll onto my back, waking myself up with a snort. I was desperate for a way to retrain myself. Enter the Calma Clip 2. I was intrigued by its clever design: a small, soft ball that clips onto the collar of your sleep shirt, right between your shoulder blades. The idea is that it makes it just slightly uncomfortable to roll onto your back, gently nudging you to stay on your side without being a disruptive or painful device. I’ve been using it for a full week now to give it a fair shot, and the results have been incredible. The first two nights, I’d wake up still on my side, having subconsciously avoided the little bump on my back. By night three, my body was already learning. The clip provides a perfect, gentle but firm nudge that your sleeping brain really listens to. The proof is in how I feel. I am now getting some of the best, most sustained sleep of my life. I am no longer jerking awake from my own snoring multiple times a night. I fall asleep and I stay asleep. I wake up feeling truly refreshed, with more energy and without that groggy, "I-fought-a-bear-all-night" feeling. For anyone who snores because they sleep on their back, this is the simplest and most effective solution I've found. It’s non-invasive, comfortable enough to forget it's there (until you try to roll over!), and it genuinely retrains your body. After a week, I feel like a new person.

Works as expected, easy to use
I've had this ball for about a month and a half now. It is nicely made and clipping it into a shirt is easy. It woke me up a few times during the first couple of nights, but I no longer notice it. Most importantly, it appears to work based on my wife reporting noticeably less snoring! It's a tad on the expensive side for what it is, but still worth it for me.

Ingenious little sphere that works wonders!
I was told my sleep apena test indicated I slept mostly on my back. In the course of an hour was awakened 47 times. That meant I only slept for 13 minutes in an hour. Thus, severe sleep apena! I tried this 'sphere' and it is fabulous. I can see that someone with a fatty or muscular back could possibly sleep on this and therefore ‘may’ not get the same results. (But I doubt that). I think this ingenious idea should be better advertised. It is amazing. No dry open mouth when I wake; no problem sleeping on my side; and now I remember I have dreams! I went for a year without dreams! It's well made, ever so clever, The shell is hard but not heavy. It is small and light weight to travel with you. Aesthetically, pleasing to the eye. I sent this in but am adding more. I decided to buy 3 extra ‘Calmas’ to make sure I will have extra for myself or to give to a friends. I must make the following suggestion to you. Please spread the word about your product. Advertise on tv, in AARP magazine, in a magazine that is distributed to a company that does sleep studies or doctors’ offices. You must spread the word about your product. That is how highly I think of it. Seriously, the price is reasonable, especially for the quality and look of the ball. But most important this seemingly minor product is a major aid for people with sleep apnea who have a problem only when they sleep on their back, as I do. This saved me the years ahead from wearing the CPAP contraption! Please advertise to a wider audience to help others like me!

Good if you are a back snorer
This is not a cure for snoring but if you snore mostly on your back this will keep you from rolling onto your back at night and save your partners sanity. It clips to bedclothes and is easy to put on. If you roll over, it is uncomfortable and you will then roll onto your side. For this reason is it is effective. I actually did not understand at first how to clip it on (I probably did not read the directions) but quickly figured it out. It was one of the cheaper anti snore devices I could try and I felt it was worth the money,

It works
I had trepidations about this product. I thought it would probably be uncomfortable and would wake me up at night when I rolled onto my back, but amazingly it's surprisingly comfortable and it keeps me sleeping on my side without bothering me at all in the process. This is important because apparently I have sleep apnea that disappears when I sleep on my side. Many competing products have straps, vests, etc. which would be uncomfortable in my overheated Manhattan rental. I really like that this just clips onto the back of my undershirt without harming it at all. Ingenious product.

Stops snoring, but could be softer.
After trying many other useless products - tongue holders, chin straps, and similar - this simple ball does the trick. No more snoring! The clamping mechanism works really well and lets you use the device on any shirt. That said, the foam covering that faces your back is much too thin and makes the ball feel hard. Another issue is the clamp itself. While the clamp works great, it also can be uncomfortable at times (depending on how it rolls if you lay on it). The clamp has a hard plastic edge around the circumference that can sometime push into you back if you lay on it.

Worth a try -- works for me
One of my best purchases in a long time! I have mild to moderate sleep apnea but primarily when I sleep on my back. I have used CPAP for years but recently lost a lot of weight and have become intolerant of the pressures. If I can train myself to stay on my side I may be able to get off the CPAP machine. At the very least, it should allow me to reduce the pressure. Seems like the most comfortable solution. Nothing big to bother with and it simply attaches to any pajama top or t-shirt without damaging it. I wear it lower on my back so when I am on my side it just lays behind me and I don't feel it at all but it is very noticable if I roll to my back. Have had some of my best nights of sleep in a long time thanks to this little inexpensive gadget. It is worth a try!

Works for plain old snoring.
I can’t believe it, this little ball thing actually works. For starters: I don’t have sleep apnea. I’ve just gained a “few” pounds over the years (who hasn’t?). Now I have this neck fat. Yuck. So whenever I sleep on my back, my tongue slides back and the airway and yada yada yada, all that stuff that all the ads say. I’m pretty sure that’s my tour of snoring. Your mileage may vary. But I have to say: I’ve tried everything. I did a sleep study. Twice. Both times, the tests or whatever were kinda inconclusive. But the doc adjusted some stuff and now I have a CPAP machine. Dude, it sucks. The hose, the noise, your lungs hurt, the mask, Matilda on your face at work… I’m using the word “hate” here. Other people love theirs. I’m happy for them. The little chin strap thing? Weird. Uncomfortable. I still somehow ended up being a mouth breather sometimes. So that’s a fail. Tried a few different mouth guards. They make my teeth hurt. Maybe my jaw and all the neck fat weigh a lot? Or I’d gag. And drool everywhere. Or I’d take it out in my sleep. Nope. Nose strips? Wrong type of snoring. Fail. Mouth tape. Worked okay. If still snore a lot of times. Or you feel like your choking sometimes. So that’s out. Spray that you sprayed into the back of your throat before bed? Gimmick. Didn’t work. Special pillows that make you sleep in your side: i’d just roll on my back anyway and snoring would commence. And for bonus: my neck would be all stiff and I’d get a migraine. Sigh. App that vibrates your smart watch when it detects snoring? I thought this was the ticket tbh. It did reduce some, but not a lot. But this little ball thing… you attach it to the back of your shirt. Then if you roll on your back, it’s a little painful. And you can’t just roll over from sleeping on one side or the other. But it makes you sleep on your side. And for me, that’s what it took. I haven’t been elbowed at night in over a month now. So I’d say that’s a win.

Calma kept me CALM
I don't usually write reviews. But if you suffer from sleep apnea and don't want a CPAP try this first. I monitor my sleep with a Lookee oximeter. With the Calma, which I used for the first time last night, I only had 2 drops. And they were only to 90%. So I am very happy with the Calma. It kept me on my side to sleep. Effective! I recommend it. Easy to use as well. Update: it has now been a week with Calma Clip. Sleeps scores this week have been excellent. My sleep score last night was 9.9/10! I recommend and endorse this product 100%

Really nice product, improved my sleep
Super happy with this purchase. An obvious improvement over my terrible home made ‘ball taped to T-shirt’ effort! Highly recommend the Calma Clip, I’m sleeping much better now.

Value for money
Reasonable size for use, but I prefer a magnetic ball.
