40 lb Ardent Gliss fishing line is all I use.
After a while you have to replace it, but I like it more than any mono that I've tried because you can really feel when something barely taps at your lure or bait. You can also cast VERY far on a spinning combo. I also use it on my baitcaster. If it's windy, there is no question that I am definitely using the spinning combo. Birds nests can be undone, but you have to be patient. I do mostly pond fishing for largemouth bass, catfish, carp, white bass, crappie and sunfish. I like, but you don't have to like it. I don't even use leaders. It goes straight to the hook or a small snap swivel especially when fishing for catfish.

Save your money!
It seems great when first put on reels but lacks abrasion resistance, and breaks too easy. I will stay with Power Pro Super 8 Slick.

rip-off! don't plan on landing a fish larger than 15lbs, especially if the line even touches ANYTHING other than water. Wish I had saved my money and just bought braid! DONT BUY
