Full Adult Size Backpack That Packs Away Into a Small Carry Case The Mozone Backpack was designed to offer the perfect balance between durability, size, lightweight, compact, and travel/storage friendly. When not in use simply fold your Mozone Backpack into its self containing pouch to transform it into a super compact handheld carry bag. Unlike others foldable packs on the market, the Mozone Backpack uses a top loading pouch with a drawstring lock. This enables you to fit more into your backpack, using the drawstring to give you more or less slack when needed. You are no longer confined to the restraints of a zipper lock. Big Clever Storage Inside the main compartment you will find a fabric divider. The main compartment is further secured with a top double sided pouch that offers additional storage and that connects securely around the top of your pack with an adjustable strap to further loosen or tighten slack as needed. The bottom of the of the backpack is double lined for additional durability. Our clever top double sided pouch can be used to store smaller items for better organization and access. Use the exterior top pouch to access items quickly such as your cell phone, sun block, digital camera, and etc. Use the interior pouch to secure more important items such as money and keys. On the exterior front of backpack there is a open spandex pouch that allows for quick access to bigger items. On each side of the back there is a sports bottle pocket with its own strap to secure your water bottle. Finally, you will find 4 extra straps (2 hooked straps / 2 spandex strap) that enables you to hang or secure items to your backpack. The strap is padded for added comfort and with a chest clips to help tighten the backpack against your body to make carrying the backpack more secure and comfortable.

Perfect as a carryon.
I used this backpack as my carryon for a 10 day trip to Italy. Just perfect to roll up my clothing and stuff them into the bag. It was lightweight and easy to carry. The drawstrings for the top and the buckles that pull it down are great to give it a compact shape. I fit atleast 7 days of summer clothing into the bag, along with a pillow, a book and my ziplock with liquids. I'm definitely using this as my carryon for future trips.

Good for Small Loads
I ordered this for my 10 year-old daughter to carry 10 pounds of gear while we section hike the Appalachian Trail. I crammed my backpacking tent, a sleeping bag, and dry bag in the main compartment then an Ipad Mini in the front pocket to show perspective. The attached photo shows it next to the High Sierra Trek 45+ I've carried on week long hikes through several mountain ranges. The Mozone weighs less than 25% of my High Sierra (14 oz. vs. 60 oz.), yet (allegedly) holds 40 liters compared to 52 liters for the Trek 45+. In addition to being smaller, much of the weight savings is achieved through thinner fabric, smaller straps, omission of the waist belt and some attachment points. I have a couple dozen backpacks and this is good for its intended purpose which is occasional light duty use. I'll probably stick it in the Rick Steves' convertible backpack the family uses for weekend car trips in case we need additional capacity when not on the trail. Only four stars because I've already had to repair one of the zippers.

Light and affordable. Treat it well and it should treat you well.
My plan is to use this pack on short camping trips in the woods or traveling. So far, it has only gone car camping with us, carrying a fair bit of gear. I have packed it FULL with two top quilts, clothes, two inflatable sleeping mats, and a few other small incidentals. It seems to be holding up fine.Let's be honest, it's a really affordable lightly built backpack. If you pay a bunch of money and the pack falls apart, then there's room to complain. If this falls apart soon, I'll just blame myself for trusting an inexpensive pack.Since it has no frame, packing it to be warn on a hike should be done carefully so it fits comfortably. I will not be pulling and shoving thins in to this pack, and I will not pack it full of heavy sharpedged equipment.I expect it will work well for light packing or UL packing on the cheap. For what it is, it's definitely worth the price and, cared for, I think it should serve me well.I'll update this review after I take it backpacking._______Edit Oct. 17 2016Took this on a weekend back packing trip this weekend. It worked GREAT! I carried about 22 pounds including hammock, underquilt, top quilt, layer of clothing, cooking equipment, and water and atarp. It held up GHREAT!\My two biggest complaints are that the edges of the straps can cut in to your shoulders a little when the pack in loaded. Also, the outside pouches are pretty tight. The side pouches held 1 liter bottles, but they just felt tight. The back pouch held a tarp and a couple of other things, but, again, stretched tight. No worse for the ware though..I am very happy!

Super Duper!
Kudos to those who have used this exclusively for multi-day trips. This is marketed as a day travel pack so eliminating stars because it's not big enough for long distance hiking is unfair.Read and re-read the description on Amazon; it's very accurate. I don't want to repeat observations made by others. I found this as I was going to write a review on the Hammock Bliss daypack and ordered it immediately. The Mozone gives me the slightly larger capacity I wanted. The "purple" is a lovely shiny, darker shade of what I would call mauve. The fabric looks and feels like Dyneema - but much nicer - with rows of "X" in the design. Visible when u get really close. They must have read the complaints: the shoulder straps are padded and all the inside seams are covered with grosgrain ribbon and stitched. Not likely to fray unless overpacked so much that the seams are ripped.I'm short and large but was able to loosen the sternum strap enough. There is an approx 2" piece of elastic that gives even more stretch to the strap. The buckle has an emergency whistle. The side compression straps will keep the bag snug when underloaded. The shock cordedloops with cord lock are perfect for attaching hiking poles or one pole and an umbrella with the lower end slipped into the "ice pick loops."When turned inside out, the carrying pouch becomes the top/lid. Really nice to be able to keep papers/wallet zipped in the top's underside, while the external zipper opens the larger top pocket. The inside divider is a handy feature, especially if you have a tablet. It would also hold a rigid sit pad to provide some structure against your back.My only doubts concern the Spandex outer pockets. The look is sleek but I don't think they will stretch very much.If you are on the fence, I suggest you jump while available at this price. It's listed as high as $65 elsewhere. You can never have too many packs - plus they make excellent gifts.
