It works and is easy to install. Mine lasted a few months before it broke off again. So it's decent for the price, just doesn't last very long unless you are very careful when opening/closing.

I was so happy to find that it was possible to buy a replacement port cover for my S5. I've had to replace it twice now, I seem to be good at breaking it. This port cover is identical to the one that was originally installed on my phone. It is very easy to replace. It seems to provide the same seal to the USB port area, retaining the water resistant properties of the awesome Galaxy S5.TO INSTALL: Take the battery back cover off your S5. There are two screws above the USB port at the bottom, the one on the right removes a small panel. Take out that screw and panel, slide the rubber part of the port cover into the space and reinstall that small panel and screw. That's it!If you're having a hard time with the screw, use better tools. Soft metal (cheap) screwdrivers are the ones that strip your screws!!! This is why I DO NOT recommend buying the port cover that comes with a little cheap tool. I use my own precision screwdriver.

It looks very similar to the OEM, but it is not made with the same quality - I was very happy to get this in, and it is easy to install, but it does not close into the port opening. You can see the raise portion that is supposed to seal into the recess is not in the correct location so it doesn't fit and won't close completely.

Ordered 2 of these since the charger cover broke on 2 of our Galaxy S5 phones. It was a little pricey with the shipping cost considering what it was, but hey, it worked as promised, so I'm happy. It takes a very tiny screwdriver to attach, but was an easy process. I would recommend this to remedy the faulty equipment on this phone. Hopefully Samsung won't make such an inferior product on their next "waterproof" phone. Not happy that we had to replace the covers already and have only had the phones less than 4 months. Product came quickly and worked well. I would recommend it to others.

Although its exactly what I was expecting, its price too high for what it is. It didn't came with any tools to ease the installation.

exactly what you need to fix that damn door not staying closed... i guess the common point of failure is the black tab on the far side of the flap gets broken off... im almost tempted to buy another one to have on hand (when) this one breaks...installation is quick and easy1) take off back cover, place phone face down2) locate unscrew left screw near charging port3) unscrew just enough to flip up that plastic piece that holds the flap in place (mine was kinda hard to lift up)4) replace cover flap5) re-assemble6) profit?

Temporary fixes, they last a couple of weeks and then break and I get a new one, can't wait to get a new phone

A fine replacement. Haven't tested it underwater nor do I plan on it but if it gets wet I'm not concerned at all.
