Besides 200 mg of Milk thistle extract it also contains 5 mg of L-Ergothioneine per 2 caps a day serving. I found both amounts are what generally is recommended by doing online research. It also has several other ingredients. The herbs Artichoke extract, Dandelion extract, Turnjujube extract, Purple Dragon Flower extract, Saussurea involucrata extract - and the vitamins C, E, Thiamine, Riboflavin, B6, Folate, B12, Pantothenic acid and the trace mineral Selenium. The other ingredients are Hypromellose and Microcrystalline Cellulose. The lot number and Best By date of 09/2026 are printed on the lid. So I didn't get an old bottle. The lid was wrapped around with a clear tamper evident outer seal. It also had a protective inner freshness seal. I see on the bottle it has a website listed and also that it's distributed from Shenzhen, China. The bottle contains 60 caps that lasted me 30 days. The caps have a tan color and a faint smell that doesn't bother me. It doesn't cause me any side effects and I take it to support the health of my largest organ.

These milk thistle capsules are made well and good to me. The smell is nothing to me. The flavor and taste are not much either with me. It's easy for me to swallow them.
