Honestly not bad for the price! It arrived very nicely packaged and the tub and lid are very sturdy. The scent is rather nice! Smells very floral and sweet, but you can still smell a very slight chemically smell, but it's not bad. The slime itself was a little tough at first. Tried to stretch it and it would just rip! But I just added a small amount of hand lotion to it and it started to soften up again and became more stretchy and nicer to play with, whilst also not ruining the scent. The charms were nice! Very cute and didn't hurt my hands. They stuck into the slime very well. The slime felt soft and smooth! Not sticky at all. Overall a pretty good slime!

I’ve yet to meet a child who doesn’t like slime. However some types seem to give more play value and if include this one. For £8 you get a tub with both pink and white slime, a sachet of slime softener and the decor. The slime has a subtle aroma and is s quite solid when you open it. The softener sachet makes it quite sticky but that’s part of the experience imo and does work in well. The decor adds to play but is soon used (once absorbed by the slime that’s kind of it) but that’s the same with all slime.

It’s a drizzly Tuesday afternoon during the kids summer holidays, spirits are low, tempers are frayed, and the children are one more sibling argument away from full-scale warfare. In a moment of weakness (and mild desperation), I unveil the “Strawberry Butter Slime kit.” Joy erupts. Peace is briefly restored. The kit is colourful, comes with plastic ‘sprinkles’, and a tiny sachet ominously labelled “Softener Powder – do not eat.” I should’ve known better. I’ve read Greek myths. I’ve seen Jurassic Park. The hubris. The overconfidence. But alas, I let my daughter add the whole packet. The once manageable blob of pink and white goo turned into a sentient, claggy nightmare. It became stickier than a toddler at a jam festival. We were essentially finger-painting with melted chewing gum that had developed attachment issues. Attempts to clean it only angered it. The more I wiped, the more it spread, like some malevolent syrup determined to redecorate my home in shimmering fusia chaos. The slime is now a semi-permanent resident on our kitchen ceiling. We named it “Greg.” Greg refuses to be removed by any earthly means. We’ve tried vinegar, lemon juice, gentle pleading, and fire. Nothing. In conclusion: • Excellent packaging. • Lovely colours. • Has irrevocably changed the chemical makeup of our home. Do not use the softener. I repeat: Do NOT use the softener. That’s how it begins.

DO NOT BUY THIS! I would have rated zero stars if possible. Completely unfit for purpose and effectively melted all over my daughters hands within minutes resulted in a sticky marshmallow mess! Awful! Will be returning and requesting refund. Shame I can't also send them the clean up bill!

My granddaughter loves it

Even if it doesn't smell like strawberries I'm giving this slime 4 stars. I was very surprised when I saw how big the container was. I'm used to getting slimes for 20.00 or more from the slime makers and someone told me, "just buy them off Amazon." I did and I'm loving it. The price at the time of purchase was about 8.00 and for once I'm saying it was worth the price. The slime was slightly tough right out of the container but if you work it it gets softer. My kids loved it and they are 6, 4, and 2. The texture is perfect and the little sprinklers are fun. My 4 year old and 6 year old loved them in it, I don't so much. I did find playing with their portion nice with the sprinkles because it scratched her hands. There is a cute little strawberry charm that got lost between the 3 kids but it was so cute! Once mixed it turns into a very pretty pink. There is also some powder in the box that says sprinkle to make the slime softer. I sprinkled and man it became very sticky. I worked with it for a while and now the stickiness isn't so bad and I let it sit over night. Only sprinkle at little, it goes a long way. Don't dump like I did! I will definitely buy more of these in the future.
