YOUNGBLOOD Natural Loose Mineral Foundation - 0.35 Oz, Color Honey

I was a little skeptical about ordering YB off Amazon, and the price was about half of the usual "retail" price, but I received a genuine/authentic product. I've used YB Mineral Powder Foundation for 20ish years and nothing compares to it. If you've never tried Youngblood, you should give it a try. I started using it in my 20's, it's light but provides full coverage when applied correctly without a cakey finish. Now that I'm 40, I'm noticing small lines and that "youthful radiance" is fading from around my eyes. I have some redness some days and my skin can get oily. My facial skin is sensitive, so there are plenty of products that I won't/can't use, but YB has been consistently gentle and I've never had a problem with sensitivity. By now I should know more about my skin tone/undertone, but I don't. In the winter, color wise, I'm more fair-toned, and in the summer I can get to a medium/light medium tone. I've always purchased this powder in "Honey" and sometimes mixed with a lighter MAC powder (N4) , however if I find this product in a lighter shade that doesn't look orange, I will update this review 😉 If I had to compare this to another brand, it would be MAC pressed powder, as they no longer sell the loose power. Both the finish and price point are comparable, but YB still outperforms IMO. There is much to be gained in learning how to apply this mineral powder, and if you can swing it, I strongly recommend the full size YB Kabuki brush (there are two, a smaller version of the full size stubby Kabuki brush and the full size, both are "stubby" but the smaller one is less full/dense) the full size brush is typically $40 (retail) but you may be able to find a better deal at a cosmetology store or possibly here. There are tons of tutorials videos out there, so I won't drag this out further with application instructions. Bottom line: If you're looking for a salon quality, medium -full coverage foundation for all skin types, this is your jam. Bonus points for not settling in lines/wrinkles/pores, all day wear, and a beautiful, easy to apply, non-cakey finish. This is absolutely a product I will reach for again and again as it has consistently out-performed every other loose power foundation I've tried (a lot.)

I love love love this mineral foundation. My go to used to be Armani Silk Foundation, but the ease and less mess plus stunning results has made me switch; I haven't found any other foundations that have met my expectations like this -- including all of the other mineral foundations. If you have dry skin then you put on heavy cream, let it set in and then apply for a glowing look. If your skin is oily then use a light lotion or serum and you will get a glowing natural look. I've had so many compliments - my skin is very fair and freckles easily and I am 35. When I put this on, I instantly look naturally sunkissed and hydrated, especially if I use serum and the appropriate cream/spf. The cool thing is that I am 33 and my mom is in her 50's and it goes on the same for her - granted she needs a much stronger cream, and serums before applying.

I bought this shade (Honey) for my sister and she absolutely LOVES it. She has used many other brands and said this was her favorite so far. I had gotten some for myself and loved it so much I got her one and she is loving it. :-)

I've been a user of Youngblood for years and years. Due to Covid and needing to order online, I found that some products I was receiving were not the genuine Youngblood brand cosmetics. You will notice the difference in the packaging and look of the product. Real Youngblood is reflective and has amazing coverage. This product was legit.

Ima cheapskate yes im guilty asf, but as im aging I have to splurge on facial products, especially foundations given my rough discoloration of skin texture! I usually automatically go for bare minerals it’s the only powder I found to really have full coverage, light to the feel and what not but it’s been a hit & miss especially with finding the right shades. So for some odd reason young blood kept popping up in my searches & I hate gambling with my money, especially hard times but the name is what really caught my attention, reminds me of some voodoo or vampire thing so my silly self was in ahhh and took that gamble, let me tell you I will forever be a loyal customer, idk what they put in it or how they get it perfect to the TEE. I honestly just guessed on the color and OMG. It’s literally witchcraft. Some voodoo whatever idc just keep it comin. It’s pricey for my single mom income but it’s essentially NEEDED. No questions about it cuz I’m leaving my twenties & not feeling to ecstatic about it, but as long as I have YOUNGBLOOD by my side I think I’ll be aight. Please make the jar a tad bit bigger pleeeaaassse! I know a little goes a long way but I’m definitely that girl that over does it with the glam for every day looks. Given my under eye veins I was born with I can’t just use a little, I’m so excited I finally found the ONE. No more cake face, no more products that sink into your fine lines; wrinkles + pores. Thank you from an aging mother still trying to hold onto her youth!

I have used this since about 9 years now and still the only one I love!! It covers well and is great for my skin and just all around perfect. I have tried Mac Studio Fix and that is ok, but this is my ride or die foundation.

I have very sensitive and oily skin that is prone to break outs, so it very difficult to find cosmetic products that do not exacerbate the issue. A friend told me about this brand, and so far, I have not been disappointed! The foundation provides great coverage and does not irritate my skin. It also doesn't feel too heavy, which is all too often the case when trying other foundations to get the same coverage.

Very difficult to buy this now in the uk so was great to find this here. Packing was a little over the top to say the least-but all arrived safely and very pleased.

Amazing product!!

I love this powder. Apply lightly, or it can look 'caked' but eith a light BB cream as foundation and this on top, it's a really natural look.
