Question 3

If this product is pasteurized, will it still keep its benefits? Isn't that the only way to keep it free of preservatives?

Accepted Answer

From their website: Omega 7 that is purified from fish oil is refined through a lengthy process that ends up stripping the nutrient of some of its most valuable qualities. It also has toxins from the sea water that are highly concentrated. If you want all the health benefits of Omega 7 oil without the yucky stuff, look to the Omega 7 supplements extracted from sea buckthorn.
Sea buckthorn undergoes minimal processing to extract the Omega 7, and because it's already in a stable, clean state to begin with, it takes less processing to extract the goodness.
Still unsure about which Omega 7 is better? Think about the amount of processing that goes into Omega 7 capsules.
Fish oil Omega 7 includes processing with bleaches, surfactants, and certain steps named “deacidification” and “recrystallization,” required to extract Omega 7 oil from fish. Yuck!
When you compare the simple process of obtaining Omega 7 from sea buckthorn to the multi-step, chemical-heavy process of extraction from fish oil, it’s a simple choice to make.

Question 4

Is this product pasteurized?

Accepted Answer

The product doesn't have this information. It is their secret how to preserve it. It reminds me pure berries squished. But it is more concentrated and sour.
