It’s soft jelly cover. I was kinda expecting a hard cover. I will give it a try and see how it goes with house chores and work out.

I've been through several versions of these. I wear them when I run. This is the first model I don't have to stop every two blocks to readjust (Now I just stop every two blocks to catch my breath.). The band is sturdy and well designed. The case itself seems durable (The order also came with two cases.).

Most people work out in short sleeved t-shirts and do not put their iPods up on their shoulders, lol. We put them on our bicep area, right? The wrap around band with the velcro attachment is a classic design, but I feel like they shouldn't have brought the velcro all the way out to the literal edge, because it almost feels scratchy, like it's extending even beyond the strap. Hard to explain. This item is almost great, but needs a redesign.

Don’t use security features for iPod. The arm band it fabulous, freedom to do what I want and still listen to my music. Highly recommend this product.

I would purchase this again. I am hard to please, but I like it.
