Bad luck. This jacket is of poor quality
The quality of the jacket was poor, the leather was poor and it looked like it was going to be peeled, there was a lot of hair on the outside, and the front of the jacket showed signs of being used.

My favorite cold weather jacket. Warm and stylish.
Incredible jacket. Well made, stylish, super warm. Perfect for Wisconsin winters. The fit is as expected. 5'9", 160 lbs and a 38 fits me well with enough room for a sweater underneath. It's so warm that I don't recommend wearing it if it's over 50 deg. I get compliments on the jacket constantly. Even past freezing weather, every part of me covered by the jacket stays very warm, even when the rest of me is numb with cold. If you have the money for this jacket, it's definitely worth it.

Outstand. Quality From Cockpit USA - Tailor Fit-Made Org Specs- Consider Issue Other Than Pilots!?
Made, in many cases from original US military specifications, Cockpit USA more than delivers! Many may ask about price, but once put on, one will more than clearly understand! Fit, if one measures one’s self per Cockpit USA guidelines, can be almost tailor achieved, except in case where one border-line between sizes and then recommend one size up!Sadly, in current US Military pilots and aircrew are only one’s whom get to wear something like this! Long ago, other branches were authorized wear of such items- up to say US Korean Conflict- remember pictures GEN. Doug MacArthur- World War II & US Korean Conflict! Many veterans, like Vietnam veterans.... wear leather vet’s etc….they purchase out of pocket. Something akin to this jacket would be a potentially great morale booster, say as a special reward successful completion task, or as a CG’s Jacket, like used to be awarded in overseas places like USJFK/USAEUR.....!Furthermore, this jacket is made by and large all natural materials, and insulated with sheep’s wool, which the natural properties of should be re-looked/reexamined versus some newer synthetic materials, for body heat retention, durability, as well as flash-melting points….- per US Flammable Fabrics Act and other such legislation or guidelines- as unfortunately many have sadly witnessed issued equipment, particularly in combat and long term training, billed as “flame retardant-resistant”…. simply melt or catch fire perhaps, in some cases, too easily or quickly-unfortunately!This is beyond a fantastic product, and more than well worth the cost- which if more US manufacture’s such as Cockpit USA made leather goods, of this high and exacting quality, would simply more than likely help drive cost’s down and offer further employment opportunities, especially for those, more than highly proficient at leather working…. and sadly, leaned this trade over a long time incarcerated in places like US Prison’s- the US BOP in particular! Only thing one really needs to do, is measure one's self correctly per Cockpit USA standards, to achieve a great fit and more than fabulous product!
