Womens Classic Black Layered Lace-up Goth Lolita Dress

I'm 5'4" and between a size 12 and 14. My measurements are 38"-39" bust, 34"-36" waist, and 40"-41" hips (my weight & size has been fluctuating lately). The dress fits just right for me even though it is a tad snug on the chest. It is a little challenging to squeeze on, but doable. The zipper does snag at the waist line of the dress - so instead of zipping it down all the way, I zip it down to the waist line, gently squeeze my shoulders through it, and then zip it all the way up afterwards (I put on the dress over my head). If you zip it all the way down prior to putting the dress on, it will not zip back up (well it didn't for me no matter how much I struggled - had others help me too as well - the zipper stays permanently jammed unless you're not in the dress). The dress hits at the knee and comes with this black elastic headband and two black bows to pin wherever you'd like. It's a very well made dress and the material is a tad heavy. You can add a petticoat for a little added puff to the dress, but not really needed. In the picture, I am only wearing the dress and as you can see it has a slight puff. The collar part of the dress is nice and stretchy and can be worn on or off the shoulders.

I am in love with this dress! I was so scared that it wasn't going to fit me once it arrived but it fit so well! I purchased the XL and wear L-XL and some times mediums. I am 5'2" and weigh 165 with a bra size of 38D (I'm on the smaller side of a D and can fit C bras as well in some brands. This dress is made very well. It's made with ticker material and is a bit heavy. But, not too heavy to where it would be uncomfortable to wear all day. From reading the reviews, I was afraid the chest wasn't going to fit because everyone said the chest was small. It fits very well. The only struggle I had with 'this dress was pulling it over my breasts but, after a shirt struggle it slid right on me and is very comfortable. I have the same struggle when I take it off but can be done without help (lol). I highly recommend this dress to everyone. It's so cute and it's fluffy! I love the bows it comes with and the headband piece! 5 star dress for sure! It's so cute and I paid for the fast shipping just to make sure it would arrive in time for my party. It arrived a day earlier than it said it would!

This dress is awesome. The material isn’t the cheap thin shiny costume piece, but rather feels like real material. It is a little heavy, but substantial and classy. I agree with other reviews on the zipper (which is why I give it only 4 stars). The dress fits me with a little extra room, but still the zipper sticks at the waist. Just put it on over your head instead of walking into it...problem solved. I bought this as an upscale witch costume, but I can see me wearing it as a staple for other costumes as well. It is longer than I expected (cause I am 5’2”) but I just added a petticoat underneath and it pulled the length up.

Very beautiful dress, well made and seems sturdy. I ordered the L size to match my 40,32,40 measurements, but there are several problems. Firstly, i could not zip up the zipper past my waist, the dress was too tight around that area and above. At the top of the zipper, worn, it was about a half inch too tight. I ended up deciding to return this dress, and go for the XL, but the difficulties continued. The dress, while being able to be zipped up, was much larger than the L. it was no longer form fitting, and felt a little extra baggy. This is not too much of an issue due to the ribbons allowing you to tighten, but there's something to be said about a form fitting over looseness being tightened, it just feels better. But that wasn't the main issue. The XL's largest problem was the upper area around the chest and shoulders. Zipping up the zipper fully, I could put the full length of my fingers between the top of the zipper and the back of my neck, a length of about 4 or 5 inches. The collar is far too loose, making the upper part of the dress feel very loose as a whole. Ultimately, I was unable to find a size that fit me right, but at least the XL is somewhat wearable. The dress itself is a wonderful piece, but the measurement windows are not inclusive enough for all shapes and sizes. You may or may not have trouble getting the right size that fits just right.

This dress was perfect as a costume for our witch loving daughter. It paired perfectly with the cloak and arm dresses we also were able to find on Amazon. I'm sure she will be able to wear again in the future as it's gorgeous and fits her just right. The details were amazing!

It fit me well, except for the fact when I tucked on the zipper, a tiny bit it ripped, but except for the fact, it was very cute and fit on me kind of loose, but that is not the dress's fault

For Halloween I wanted a dress that stood out more than anything. But it wasn't just for Halloween it was also for a medieval play. So first off I had my doubts when buying this online. I had my bad experience with buying clothes online as well. And with different heights and sizes and weights, and everything I really wasn't sure if I should get this dress. So I finally decided to buy the dress and all my gosh I would not regret a single minute that I have it. I had so many compliments of saying how pretty it was. The dress is actually pretty light and has beautiful designs and it comes with a headband if you want it and also comes with 2 extra bows including the pins.It fits me perfectly you can adjust the waist and you can adjust the front part which is you can just the size of your chest and you want to and I think it's pretty good for about $35 it's made of good quality and I would definitely recommend this. I am 5'6 and around 125 lbs.
