Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa Hair & Body Perfume Mist

I love Sol de Janeiro products, and trying out new fragrances. This is my first time trying out the Sol de Janeiro 39, and it is now one of my absolute favorite body sprays. I see what all of the hype is about with this particular scent! The bottle is a decent size, and I find that it's convenient to toss in my bag or purse. It's nozzle sprays well, and has a fine mist that is easy to apply to my pulse points. I also like adding some to my hair sometimes, as it adds a nice refreshing smell. The bottle is cute, and I love the teal green color. The lid fits on nicely, and stays on during traveling. There were no issues with leakage or anything when I received it. I like that this body spray has a decent strength to it, but it doesn't seem overwhelming or overpowering. I don't typically get headaches from (most) fragrances, and I definitely don't have any headaches with this spray. It's a great scent, without being too much. This spray is great for using alone, or for layering with lotion or even other fragrances. I love the layers of fragrance notes, and appreciate that this scent lasts longer than many of my other body sprays. I feel this is a great quality fragrance, and one with a delicious smell to it. Additionally, it can last for several hours without me needing to reapply. I've had no issues with irritations or headaches. Overall, I absolutely love how this spray smells on me. I've gotten many compliments while using it, and am very pleased with it's qualities. I think this is a decent value for the price, in my personal opinion. I would absolutely order this again; it's an amazing smell that is gourmand and sweet, with very nice notes. I'm in love with this fragrance!

this is one of my favorite soul, Janeiro scents!! it smells like a vacation, tropical very coconut💕 the sun is lightweight and is super buildable I like to layer this with some other perfumes that I have just to make a good combo! I feel like there’s so much product in this and I’m so happy that I got the big size because I spray this all the time! Surprisingly, the sun was a very long time. I can smell lingering on my hair and my clothing after almost an entire day. I do like the way this sprays particularly because it’s more of a spritzer than a sprayer and I like that with my body miss! Definitely worth the money. I’m just happy. I got it on sale for prime day! I do feel like it’s pricey so if you want it, I’m sure you could find cheaper options out there that probably will do you better but if you have the money, I would recommend splurging because this is such a good product and also a trendy product that everyone has been requesting for years to come back and now it’s finally back. We don’t know how long it will be back so get it now. !

This was a blind buy! Not too bad I do smell the very slight popcorn scent. At first wasn't sure but the dry down is better. Not mad about it and will wear it and prob pair it with the others I have! I would probably not buy it again unless it grows on me!!!!! Actually it's a light smell and after ten min I can still smell it on my skin, this one might have staying power!!! The bottle had a protected thin clear plastic strip to open the bottle! Great packing idea! I like it was all secured sAfely inside the box! Sometimes products spill in shipping this one came perfect and I will purchase my next one with this seller! Smelling even better now. My review is for 39. My favorite is 62 and 68 so far. Sunday in rio was ok I think this 39 is a little lighter than it. 76 is muskier and I like it too. Pairs well with two of my Victoria secret perfumes bombshell intense in the dark red bottle and regular bombshell. Eos body lotion also pairs well with these! A great idea sorry for the long review that nobody's gonna read anyway 😆😃 my review is for #39 I got the usual 3 ounce bottle. The color of the bottle is beautiful! It's like a teal light green color. Looks tropical.Easy to use! Value for the money is fine. I think the effectiveness is going to be good!

Genuinely the best sol de janeiro scent! I’m not a sol de janeiro fan but this scent got me! It’s so tropical and delicious! I get so many compliments on it! Great quality and lasts super long!

Edit: Wow!!! So, after spraying it when first opened and letting it sit for 5 days, that sour lime scent is gone and it’s finally a creamy helado do coco!!! (Coconut icecream) this is EXACTLY what I was expecting. Very happy now 😁 I have no idea what everyone is smelling. This smells like BBW Coconut Lime Verbana. It doesn’t have a lime note, but it’s definitely in there. Very very sharp. I expected creamy and it’s far from that. I can’t return so oh well. At least I can deal with the dry down after 30 minutes of spraying it on but I’m so underwhelmed by it.

It was tough to decide on 4 or 5 stars for this product because I absolutely love the scent, the bottle is a good size and easy to use and hasn't leaked. However, it was $40 which is a little steep for something that doesnt seem to last too long. It is a perfume MIST though so I guess that tells me its going to have a lighter effect than an actual perfume. I'm glad I purchased this and probably will again because it smells AMAZING. fans of tropical coconut scents like myself should try this. I discovered this product by asking a customer at work what they were wearing because she smelt so good and I have never asked anyone that before but I had to know. Cheirosa 39 used to be called Coco Cabana. I had it before, ran out, and immediately regretted it, so I was really happy to see it rereleased. I don’t always crave this scent, but there are random moments where I really wish I could smell it. Since it’s limited edition, I had to have it on hand because I didn’t want to risk never being able to smell it again. On the opening, this really does smell like warm, buttery popcorn to me. Some people smell it and some don’t, but I’m definitely one of the people who gets that note right away. It’s very nutty and buttery at first. As it starts to dry down, the coconut cream and praline begin to come through more. That’s when it shifts into a sweeter, nutty, very gourmand creamy coconut scent. I don’t get much of the orchid note at all. Even though it’s a strange one, there’s something about it that keeps me coming back to it. It’s sweet, cozy, and different from the usual beachy coconut scents out there. This is definitely not a safe blind buy, though. If buttery or popcorn-like notes sound off-putting to you, I would absolutely test it first. But if you’re a collector of Sol de Janeiro scents, this is a must-have.

I love this scent! It's a creamy coconut with a bit of a sweet floral. I hope they never discontinue it again. It's expensive, but worth it if you can get it on sale. I just stock up when that happens.
