Train Sim World - PlayStation 4

Lots of fun not very hard to drive. Just need a little brain power. I wish it had working train gates and cars on the road but the rest is cool. You can walk around in the train cars and ride the train also. It's a lot of fun if your a train nut you need to get this thing. I got the 2 expansion packs cost me $55 dollars and worth it. You can also explore by walking or running down the track lol. I did 16 miles worth lol... Get the German train add on it's great. New York Amtrak not great that it comes with because the speeds go up and down so much due to bad tracks in the USA. The British high speed train is great.. And the weather changes and night and day are the best. Get this for your kids might get them interested in driving a train someday like I did for 23 years. Good pay and great people to work for.

This Train Sim World is awesome. It looks and feels so realistic as though your in the real world. Everything looks so authentic from the trains, landscapes, scenery, right down to every last detail. Even the people move, talk to each other and go about their daily lives as though they were alive. And every train is very much detailed (nothing left out) just like the real trains. So real you feel like you don't want to do anything wrong, press a button or move a switch that might cause an accident to happen. You almost feel like your an actual train conductor driving a train. This is one of the best Train Sims out there on the market. 2 thumbs up!

It’s fun. I wouldn’t say it’s like super hi-tech or you’re facing dangers at every turn but you do enjoy controlling the speed trying to stay on schedule. The scenery is beautiful. It’s nice laid back game to help kill some time.

Very hard to play without help. Sometimes there seems to be no way to continue play when asked to do something without direction. Graphics are great, just wish I could simply run the train in a basic mode from point A to point B.

This game has great definition and graphics. However, the tutorials were very basic. For example, I was stuck in a train station while time expired because the tutorial never explained how to open the doors for the passengers. If you’re a hardcore train sim gamer, you’ll absolutely love this game. If you’re like me, intrigued but never really played a train sim game, you may be disappointed.

Trying to play this game is an exercise in frustration. Yes, they give you a crappy tutorial on how to start the train. However, once you start playing for real you are on your own with no help. You must perform all 10-15 steps from memory. And what was really upsetting is that the tutorial for one of the trains doesn't mention how to open/close the passenger doors. And then when I played for real, I was asked to open the passenger doors and I could not find the button after 45 minutes of looking. I gave up.I also ran into an instance where during a tutorial for a different train I entered the train through a passenger door, forgot to close it, and then when I went through all the steps of starting the train properly, the train wouldn't move even though it said I should be moving. It was because the passenger door was still open, and the tutorial never alerted me to that fact.The tutorials need massive improvements to make this game playable. It's like the designers/developers throw you in the deep end of a pool after one poor swim lesson and force you to swim. They would argue that they are just trying to be realistic, but I would bet that in the real world, the train companies train you well and actually assist you in learning how to operate a train. The designers/developers were just lazy and didn't want to put the time in.Also, the game crashed on me and I had to restart it. That leaves a sour taste in my mouth. This is even after I downloaded the release day update as they obviously had to patch stuff after they just released the physical disk. I've never had a PS4 game crash on me.Stay away until they release a few more patches or, perhaps, release a sequel with improved tutorials. This was honestly one of the most frustrating video game experiences I've had in my life and I've been playing since the days of Atari.

Play every day. Very good game. Teach in real form how to operate all types of trains.

My son didn’t like this game because most of the trains are European. He thought it would have older American train

Always wanted to be a train driver and this game makes me feel like i am. The details and graphics are soo real, literally cant stop playing.

日本国内のラインナップにはありませんが、海外垢を取得（必要なのは国内垢と別メールアドレスですので簡単です）することでダウンロードできますので、早くやりたい人/やってみたい人は時間がかかる海外発送よりもセール中ならかなり安くあがるのでその方法が良いかと思います。（国内のpsnカードや国内登録のクレカは使用できませんので、海外版のpsnカードを入手しましょう。）まるで職業体験をしているかのような人間の操作を要し、没頭感は半端なく、一時的な春夏秋冬および実際と同様の24時間の時間概念があるため(列車種別・地域により24時間運用があります）大好きな人は廃人寸前までもってかれる心配があります。私も一社会人としてかりそめの世界で労基にからむ危機感を感じました。日本人がやるとこうなってしまうのが皮肉ですが、海外のおおらかな職場・運転士さんをイメージしながら暖かく見守るようにプレーすることをおすすめいたします。ふつうのテレビでプレイするにはディティール・環境描画が甘く、おそらくはpc版の動画など経てここへたどりついた方が多くいらっしゃると思う為、コダワリ派は慎重にプレー環境の選定をしたほうがいいと思います。私はHOの仕入れや資料を収集するためよく現地に赴くためそのへんは精密にできているPC版をあてにしていますが、ジオラマ製作などの素材にできそうな雰囲気はいやよくやったなと言うバッチリ感です。シミュレーターは雰囲気で！という観点から100点に近い★５あげます。世界のレールファンはえげつない人口ですのでps4に展開したわけですが、コールドスタートや重連(重単）・ATSの機器設定など主にほぼ説明が無いゲームと思って差し支えなく基本的には海外フォーラム・公式のウェブマニュアル(あくまでps4用ではない）をがんばって解読します。へたな薀蓄は置いといてという空気感がなんとも日本と違っていますが、困るといえば困ります。そのあたりのサポートについてはわりと多いpc版のバグ修正対応などと比べても軽く見られているようで最近は全くないみたいです。さすがに貫通ブレーキが緩解しない事象が発生している状況では単機なら動きますが20両とかは動きませんよ・・・何がバグなのか設定の不備なのか、把握することから始めたほうがいい感じです。PS4ならではのVRを使った独自展開など、海外の支持は本当にアツいゲームみたいでDLCも逐一追ってリリースされていますので展開に期待していいと信じています。あと専門用語や法規は各国共通でしょうから好きな人にはなんとなくで意味は分かるゲームですが、日本語に対応してくれるといいですね。
