Floor Cleaner & Polisher

If you have hardwood floors, get this. It worked so well our floor was smiling when I finished! We have multiple pets and our floors were scuffed and had zero shine. Now our floors are softer, the colors of the wood are much more vibrant, and they have a soft glowy shine. I used this with a pack of reusable cleaning cloths that fit over a swiffer, which is what I’d recommend instead of going hands and knees around your house using the cloth this set comes with. I’d also recommend doing two rounds of application, especially if your floors are beat up, since it’s really obvious to see where you missed any spots—the second application fixes that. This didn’t make our floors greasy or sticky whatsoever. No risky business sliding around (which I was sorta looking forward to lol), the smell is very mild, and the scratches on our floor feel less deep. We were starting to budget to resurface or replace our floors, but this product has brought them back to life! Two applications of about 500sq/ft of hardwood used about 1/3 of one bottle. I did apply it liberally and the floors drank it up, so you may not need to use as much as I did. By far, this has been the biggest bang for your buck home improvement we’ve ever done.

My engineered floors were installed long before we bought this house. They were dark, dull and so tired looking. All I wanted for the past two years is to replace them but the cost is prohibitive! I decided to try this polish and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW! My floors have life now! They're shiny, the wood grain stands out and they look NEW! My husband is amazed, as am I, and he's thrilled to hear that I'm in no rush to rip these floors up! Highly recommend!

I purchased this because I had scruffs and cat scratches on my newly water stained dark hardwood floors. First, clean with the cleaner. Squirt the product directly on the floor, avoiding any material, curtains, couches, furniture. Apply in a zig zag motion. Second, dust or check for anything on the floor. Make sure there is absolutely NOTHING including human and pet hair, crumbs, particles because the polish/restorer will lock in everything. Allow the floors to dry completely. Once the floors are throughly cleaned go in the with the polish. Squirt the product directly on the floor in a zig zag motion avoiding any material, wall, curtain, furniture. A little goes a long way! Use a microfiber mop to spread evenly. Allow about 20 mins for the first light coat to dry completely. Do not walk until it is completely dry or you risk clouding, streaking, locked in dust/dirt and sticking to the floor. Voila! You’ll have shiny floors. If the floors aren’t shiny enough, go in with another coat and allow 30 mins for the second coat to dry, third coat 40 mins. The finish is shiny and flawless. HOWEVER, polish is thick. It’s not something you should do every week, every month or every 3 months. I believe polish should be done every 6 months depending on the instructions on the product you are using. The mistake I made was doing this every 2 weeks or so. The issue is that if you don’t strip the floors from the polish, you will have build up and result in dullness. After repetitively doing this every 2 weeks, the cleaner didn’t take all the polish off to redo my floors. Instead, the floors were soapy while cleaning. I kept on cleaning. When I applied the polish it dried and shined but many places had a blue hue even though I didn’t use too much product. I had to use a dry towel to buff it away. One weekend I decided not to polish, just clean so I cleaned using the hardwood cleaner. When the floors dried I had so much fogginess everywhere so I freaked out and tried hot water with vinegar and fabuloso to strip the polish off. Be careful when doing so. I towel buffed the floors, then I decided to try something that did work. It was the *O-Cedar PACS Hard Floor Cleaner, Lavender Scent 10 Count (1-Pack) | Made with Naturally-Derived Ingredients | Safe to Use on All Hard Floors | Perfect for Mop Buckets* on Amazon- mixed with hot water. I bought the OCedar bucket with mop, used one pod and hot water. I did this three times. The floors finally dried without that ugly fogginess. Just be super careful on making this purchase. It’s a commitment and honestly I think it takes a lot of patience and work to upkeep using this specific product. Good luck.

Five stars plus. Great product! Easy to apply, dries as stated, and my floors look beautiful. I used an old swiffer type mop with an elasticized microfiber cloth over the mop head & it worked great (same microfiber cloths avail from Amazon). Purchased pack of 2 bottles of this polish. Bottle tops were well sealed, the 2 bottles were packaged together in sufficiently thick plastic, and there was also a soft washcloth wrapped in with them to cushion & further protect against cracks or breaks of the plastic bottles, reducing possibility of leaks/product loss. I had some home renovation done recently, felt that my wood floors took a slight beating, and decided to try Weiman’s to renew their natural luster. It worked. Note: Photo on far right shows small area of comparison — unpolished section beside polished section. That portion hasn’t been polished yet, as it is covered by a rug underneath my dining room furniture, & I cannot move by myself. Can’t believe how easy the job was with this polish & a simple dry mop, and the incredible difference it has made to the condition & appearance of my 15-yr-old hardwood floors. Great products to use together or clean hardwoods alone. Cut through dirt from room of dog hair, dander, high foot traffic, outside access with grass and pollen etc. Dried without streaking and left fresh not scented odor. Floor actually was shiny again even before the floor polish second step. The polish seemed to rehydrate wood and left it shiny with restoration of deep color. When dried the shine remained but no stickiness or streaking.

Wow—what a truly great product! Our hardwood floors looked decent before, but they didn’t really stand out… until we used this cleaner and polish. After sweeping, we applied the cleaner, and even that alone made a noticeable difference. It went on easily, left no streaks, and had a pleasant scent. The floors looked cleaner and had a subtle shine. But once we applied the polish—wow! The results were incredible. The floors took on a deeper, darker, richer tone and developed a beautiful, almost “wet-look” shine without feeling sticky or slick. I’m genuinely impressed with how dramatically this improved the overall appearance of our floors. Very impressed with these products!

I’m really impressed with the Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Polish Restorer Combo. Both products are so easy to apply — you just squeeze them directly onto the floor and apply with a mop. The cleaner was simple to work in with a damp mop and did a great job preparing the surface. After that ( once fully dried), I applied the restorer polish using a dry mop. It only took about 10 minutes to spread it evenly, and after leaving it to dry for an hour, I added a second coat. I note the comments about labels applied over directions, I dampened these and they peeled off without damaging the instructions beneath. The results were fantastic. It brought my 15-year-old oak flooring back to life with a lovely mid-sheen finish. The floors look refreshed and cared for again. Highly recommended!

I’ve tried quite a few products over the years, and the Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Polish Restorer Combo is easily the best I’ve used. It brought my hardwood floors back to life—clean, smooth, and with a beautiful shine that actually lasts. What really stands out is how long the polish holds up. Weeks later, my floors still look freshly done without needing constant touch-ups. It’s quick to use, doesn’t leave any dull residue, and gives a rich, even finish. If you want your floors to look well cared for without a lot of effort, this is the one to go with.

Cleaner was ok but the polisher left a lot of dots on our timber floor. Those dots are visible under a light. I dont recommend using polisher.
