Weiman Wood Floor Polish and Restorer - 32 Ounce - High-Traffic Hardwood Floor, Natural Shine, Removes Scratches, Leaves Protective Layer, Packaging May Vary

So I just finished using this on my VERY dark real wooden floors- I love the look of dark wood floors but maintenance wise it’s a huge hassle as EVERY scratch, ding etc shows up instantly- plus we have kids and a dog so the floors constantly get beat up. I was VERY cautious as I’ve read the negative reviews regarding using this on dark color wood so I thought I’d add. This did a gorgeous job on my dark wooden floors- there very dark. Here’s some tips; - first use SPARINGLY- we live in a 2,000sq condo and I didn’t even use the entire 32oz bottle. Do NOT slather this on. Test in a small area first as well. - I used a swifter wetjet mop along with their pads- NOT the microfiber ones-( I think it makes a huge difference- microfiber has fibers on it. Just use the disposable ones) but the regular disposable ones. Worked like a charm. Afterwards u just throw the pad out- easy peasy. - GO WITH THE GRAIN- and the layout of your wood planks- if your planks are vertical- don’t go horizontal etc- I did it this way and there’s absolutely NO streaking. I put on 2 coats- waited an hour in btw coats- it’s amazing becuz it FILLED in so many superficial scratches! Obviously not the super deep ones but the ones left from moving furniture- Xmas trees, puppies running around etc- there ALL gone. That’s amazing to me. It conditioned my floors- No it didn’t leave them with a SUPER high gloss finish- it did gloss them and they look brand new and almost ALL the scratches are gone and that’s what’s most important for me. Final thoughts I wouldn’t use this more than once or possibly- maybe- twice a year- becuz it does coat ur floors and you don’t want to have build up- that’s why rule #1 about using this SPARINGLY is SO important and plus this way also, it left absolutely NO cloudiness on my floors. Obviously if you just dumb the entire bottle and over saturate ur floors you’ll be left with a huge milky residue. Don’t do that. Best to use it sparingly and do it twice if you want more gloss. Also NO chemical smell or anything. So that’s my two cents on using this on Very DARK wooden floors. Oh and NO stickiness what’s so ever when dried and walking on floors - again becuz you should use sparingly. -Also. It took me 20-30 minutes to do it each time. Super fast. I didn’t labor over it ALLL day. Washing and rubbing this in etc. you don’t have to be that dubious. If you apply correctly it does the rest for you. So apply & enjoy the rest of your day.

I just tried this for the first time so I don’t know how it’s going to hold up with as much as I mop my floors but I’m loving the shine out puts on my hard wood floors . I highly recommend it 👍🏻👍🏻

Worth every penny. Buy the two pack as each bottle does about 600 sq ft. If you want extra shiny, you have double the amount. Super easy to use. Only 30 min to dry and super effective. Absolute love for it no need to strip floor, just double up on this and you are good. The reason for four stars is the smell, but it does subside once dry.

Bought more than 20 times. After applying it, the floor has a uniform and clean shine, leaving no sticky residue or stains. The surface looks renewed and with a very neat appearance, highlighting the color and veins of the floor. I first clean it with water I hope it dries and I apply it then we don't walk for about an hour. The finish looks shiny but natural. All the people who come to my house ask me what I put on the floor? The brightness is really amazing. Easy to use.

Sticks and remove any dirt or stain on the floors leaving floor soft, shiny and no streak at all. This actually worth the value am definitely buying more you them. Its ships very fast and everything was very sturdy in the box no spills or nothing was shaking. Ty l was skeptical about it cause of liquid. However the seller did amazing job packaging them. Ty coming to buy again more.

Our wooden floors are over 100 years old. There are scuffs and marks everywhere as you would expect. It didn’t use to bother me much but it’s gotten a lot worse over the past year—to the point where it scratched and injured our dog’s foot. That was the turning point for us. We considered getting it redone but alas we don’t have the funds for that right now. So we did the next best thing and that’s to use a floor restorer. It’s our first time dealing with this kind of project but I have to say it’s easier than what I had imagined. I followed the instructions to the t and got some great results. It didn’t fix all the problems, like the splinters are still there but it has for sure made our floors look nicer. It’s now a lot shinier than before. Scratches are also less visible. Using the floor restorer: We started by cleaning the floors thoroughly with a vacuum. Then we used our flat dust mop to remove dirt and dust. Finally, we opened the bottle of restorer and applied that to the hardwood. It dried quickly and we were able to put on the second layer after 30 minutes. We contemplated on whether or not to add a third layer but it looked good enough with two so we left it at that. The smell isn’t exactly great but fortunately it went away after an hour. The next step is to see how long the two layers will last. I read in some reviews that it’s generally durable so I have my fingers crossed that I won’t have to re-do it for a while. I will update my review when I need to get them redone so you all know how long it works for. As it is…right now however I am satisfied with the product and would give it a full 5/5!

I did need a couple layers for the shining I was going for, but now that is finished it looks great!

Effective. 2 proper coats and the flooring shines bright like a star 🤌🏻

Our main living area is Australian spotted gum timber flooring that has been coated with polypropelene and it looks wonderful. However, there are two main wear areas - in front of the fridge and at the end of our family room table, where I sit for every meal. The surfaces are covered in many very fine scratches and makes the finish on the timber look dull. The natural finish is satin. Two coats of Weiman Hardwood Polish & Restorer has removed any signs of the dull look. It looks normal again and I cannot see where the treatment with this product starts and ends. It is really good !!! The instructions are a little vague, so here's what I did: (1) I cleaned the area to be treated and allowed it to dry. (2) I squirted product from the container directly onto the floor, then spread it by hand using a microfibre cloth. The amount of product I used was enough to leave the floor looking wet when I finished spreading it. I think that's important. If you can see dry areas BEFORE you finish, you haven't applied enough product. It should look evenly wet all over before you move on to other areas. (3) Block off the wet area - use chairs or something to warn others not to walk there - and leave it until fully dry. Final comment. Homes with polypropalene timber flooring need to be cared for and it can be done provided all family members are disciplined. We don't wear outdoor footwear indoors. Most of the time, we wear socks only or bare feet in summer. My wife dusts the floors every day, to remove any abrasive material. She sprays a mix of water and euclyptus oil as she goes and spreads it using a special microfibre pad under an applicator style mop. A fine mist is all that's applied.
