Update: Bought this in July 2024 and the most important button that you push to actually execute your command stopped working in February 2025. The button in the middle of the circle set of buttons you use to move the cursor up, down, L, R. All the other buttons work fine. Nothing was spilled on it. Waste of my money since I have to buy a replacement so soon. Thus the 1 Star. Going to the landfill with the billions of other cheaply made items. Prior Review with my prior 5 star rating: Was a bit slow only the first time I used it on my Sony OLED TV. Maybe needed to sync up to each other. Been as quick in response time as my original Remote. Have only used it a few days. Will update if any problems. FYI the design of this Remote is more suited to small finger tips IMO. The boxier, older looking rectangular Remote’s buttons are a bit easier to hit. I use both types for the one TV in my large family room area with one Remote at my Recliner and one on my kitchen counter. Happy with both Remote types although Sony could improve the ergonomics on both. Navigation buttons should be bigger and more separate for use with Smart TV menus.

Solar charger never worked. Remote itself stopped working after a month.

If you are into frustration this is the remote for you. It randomly and repeatedly takes you to the Rdio home screen to add the channel, and when it doesn't do that it takes you to Fandango to add that channel. This usually occurs when you are searching or if you are in the meddle of a show and you make the mistake of hitting pause. Then it will take you to Rdio, which then requires you to go back home, back to your previous station, resume the show. Yeah, it is actually pretty good quality, I mean, it still works on occasion even after being thrown against the wall a few hundred times.... Save yourself, buy another one.

Thing seems to work fine if not a little laggy but it prompted my TV to tell me to update the remote. NOT update the TV, Ive seen on here the manufacturer sayd the update is for the TV. It is not. My TV is updated running the latest version of software. See my photos for the progression. The voice bit works which is why I bought it but I cant live with the constant update the remote notification in the upper right all the dang time, like everytime I use the remote it pops up. I guess these remotes are unupdate-able. Its going back.

The voice function doesn't work, and after several months, the lag time between when we click on a button and when the tv registers what we click is unreasonably ridiculous and frustrating. There is not a single instance of sitting down together as a family to watch tv where we don't comment on how bad the remote is, and how much worse it's getting.

THEY DO NOT.. I REPEAT NOT WORK FOR ALL PHILLIPS TVS AS STATED! I HAVE TWO NEWER PHILLIPS TVS AND THESE REMOTES WOULD NOT WORK IN EITHER ONE. THE "SELECT" BUTTON WORKED TO PAUSE ONE TV BUT AFTER 20 MINUTES HOPING IT WAS USER ERROR.. IT WASN'T AND THEY JUST DON'T WORK! THE SIZE OF THE REMOTES ARE HUGE ALSO.. WAY BIGGER THAN THE ORIGINAL ONES .

I purchased this remote because it was on sale and only three days after I started using it. The volume button went out so I returned it and got a replacement and that one worked for about a week and now half the buttons are going out, we haven’t even used it that often for them to be malfunctioning already. Save your money don’t even bother buying this brand. Get a different brand.

The controller has slow responses, the buttons stuck, it was pivotal a knockoff despite having the right serial number. I feel like I was scammed. I expected that problems might occur - I had to replace the original because my dog chewed on it, and I stupidly thought that a more expensive version must be more legitimate. I bought the two-year protection plan, and after almost a week of sending them several pictures and screenshots of the proof of purchase, they denied my claim not because pet damage isn't covered, but because I didn't send the correct validation. What more can I send than the email you sent me?? Do not buy this product, do not buy from this company, and do not give any hope to their protection plan. If they treat you how they treated me, you'll get a bad product and worse service.

Funciona? Si Material del producto? Corriente. Mínimo cumple con el funcionamiento.

Within one month the battery compartment got heating problem and stopped working. No Durability.

I bought 2 controllers. One is new wrapped properly. The other seems used with scratches all over. Both controllers can work though.
