Can it be used on baby grass

I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t use it but it would be unusual to have fungus on newly planted grass . Just make sure that you are treating the correct problem. Good luck , I hope this helps

Why can’t this be used with a handheld spreader?

It can be applied with a handheld spreader, it is just more efficient with a rotary or drop spreader.

Where are you hiding the label / specs for this, it's a no sale without ???

On the back of the bag, you can also read the instructions on their website.

how late in the season can this be applied in NewJersey ?

Yikes! I live in California so I have no idea. Sorry!
