Dee Zee DZ 960D Under Tonneau Storage Drawer

Great box will hold a lot of tools, brackets need heavier.

The box seems to be of good quality and is heavy. The mounting brackets look good however are too thin. They bent, box fell over during installation. I threw them out and fabricated new brackets from 1/4" angle iron. Mounted with 5/16" bolts through the bed and did not use what was supplied with the box. I feel ALL the screws/bolts are too small to support the weight of this toolbox. Unless the key is turned to lock the draw, it vibrates while driving, opens, slams into the tailgate then back into the box repeatedly.

Latching mechanism was broken from poor packaging and the drawer would not stay shut, the metal where the latch goes in was bent so bad that positive engagement couldn’t be met. I was able to make it work by reversing the mechanism and using a magnet to keep it from walking out, it’s not right but at least the drawer stays shut while in motion. I had to use clamps to straighten the sides of the box up. I was in need of the tool box and did not have time to return it or I absolutely would have.
