Improved version of original tray.

I just slapped this Grillflame Charcoal Tray into my Charbroil Gas2coal grill, and let me tell you, my hybrid grilling sessions just got a whole lot smoother (and smokier)! This thing fits like a glove, which is a relief, because nobody wants a charcoal tray that plays hard to get. The efficient heating and large capacity are fantastic; I can load it up with enough charcoal to cook for a small army, or just my very hungry family, without constantly reloading. Plus, the 2-in-1 charcoal tray and ash pan design is genius; cleaning up is now so easy, I almost feel guilty about how little effort it takes. It's truly a solid replacement part that makes switching between gas and charcoal as seamless as flipping a burger!

Measure your grill prior to ordering. Sadly this doesn’t fit the Charbroil three burner grill. It’s pretty well constructed and looks like it would work well.

What a shocker! Apart from the fact it cost twice the amount of the Char-broil version which was unobtainable, the finish on this is appalling. Rusty and obvious welds, serious scratches and obvious places where a hammer has hit it. At least it fit the original Char-broil 3 flame barbecue. Avoid it like the plague unless like me, your original is virtually unusable.

Quality is dubious and there are incredibly sharp pieces of metal underneath which I cut my finger on when opening.
