4.5 stars. This is a good bag. It's surprisingly difficult to find a bag in this size capacity (around 25L), that is lightweight, has a laptop compartment that also has a water bladder tube opening, a sternum strap, and isn't ugly as hell. The closest I've found is the Daylite Plus, but they're just too small for my needs. My travel daypack for the past decade has been a 15L Osprey daypack. It's perfect most of the time, but there are occasions when I'm traveling and have trouble stuffing souvenirs, a bottle, jacket, and camera gear into it. This bag has just enough extra space to handle that kind of stuff without becoming cumbersome. The very deep water bottle pockets mean I can keep my bottle outside of the pack. The unexpected MVP of the bag is the elastic string, which allows me to keep even more internal space free by strapping my jacket to the outside, or even a pair of trekking poles. Incredibly useful (though I can see it potentially getting snagged on something in a busy environment). My only complaints are that I find the pen pocket/internet organization more or less useless. A single mesh zippered pouch would've been much better. I also wish the overall pack was made of something that felt higher quality, like a ripstop material with more water resistance.

Solid backpack and looks great. Can get scuffed up somewhat easily, one of the better looking backpacks with plenty of pockets and space. Doesn't look massive when packed either. Comfortable straps etc

Was just packing for tomorrow and realized how much Ive loved this bag so here I am. The past 10 years Ive used the same swiss gear bag until the zippers broke, Then replaced it for $40. No complaints, Probably could’ve gone through swiss for a free replacement but $40 ever 2-3 years was worth it to me. I like small bags and after checking this one out I pulled the trigger. Firstly, This bag is probably suited more for light use in a nicer environment like an office or school. I work in production and im a writer so finding a bag that was durable while also having a ton of storage/folders inside hasn’t been easy but THIS is the bag. I can fit my clipboard, notebooks, pens pencils marker, journals, books, aswell as a hoody. The double water bottle holder is amazing the mesh WILL stretch out a little if you put giant bottle in it. (The huge smart water bottle is what stretched mine out a bit. Not much but should be mentioned) the size of each compartment fits way more than I anticipated, All of the spots for carabiners have prooved to be SUPER usefull so far and Im not a carabiner/clip on guy. But my keys, monocular(single binocular) level, flashlight etc all get clipped in different places. Ive ran 8 miles with it on my back completely drenched it in sweat, soaked it in water and cleaned it, dried perfectly didnt lose its shape or anything. The straps are cushiony enough while staying taught to your body. As I said with my previous bag the issue was the zippers. Honestly because I would hold the bag BY the zipper and open it with the other. This has unintentionally become my zipper test for backpacks and so far so good. Ive brought this thing on active jobsites and the material has held up beautifully whether its on the cement or covered in sheetrock. Genuine 10/10 for $90. When I eventually destroy this one Ill be buying another.
