These are hand covers. The velcro band goes nicely around an adult wrist, not an ankle. The center of the underside of one of the claws has a little bit of elastic that loops over a finger.They are cute and nicely made, but they are not shoe or foot coverings.

Worked great for photos - really gave the effect. The ankle straps were too tight, so I could only get one corner fastened on each ankle. They also wandered around to the side as I walked. There was a "toe" strap, but that only works if you have on lace-ups shoes. But overall, way worth the price for when you need chicken feet!

We needed this for a rooster costume...the reason for 3 stars because it wasnt long enough to go around my son's ankle. He said it was too tight. Great product other than the one size fits all.

Perfect for what I needed

Loved these! They were the perfect accessory to my Chicken Costume. Got a lot of laughs!They fit comfortably around my ankles and draped nicely over shoes. I did have to stitch some thin elastic underneath that went under my shoe to keep them in place.

I actually got these as feet for a parrot costume. They were a total hit!

My child dressed as a chicken for Halloween and loved the look of these feet immediately. We were able to fit them over a pair of cowgirl boots for that touch of country, but needed to rig another way to keep them from sliding from side to side. She uses the chicken costume as pajamas and the feet work much better when she goes without shoes.
