I wasn't sure I'd like these, or use these, as I know oven mitts can be bulky and cumbersome. I gave them to my mother as a gift, as they match her kitchen & she makes me nervous when I see her taking things out of the oven with regular pot holders. She has an older oven, and pans are made larger now, and expand in the oven, so they can get stuck, and you have to really work on getting the pans out. To my surprise, while these do feel a little bulky and don't bend completely as your hand would, they do work well, and you do feel like the top of your hands and wrists are protected. I also worried that you'd feel the heat through the silicone. You do feel some heat, but I haven't held on to a pan long enough with them, to fully feel the heat. I do still often use pot holders as a little more convenient and easy to use, but if being extra careful, I feel these are a much safer option! Overall, they serve the purpose for which I bought them. I would recommend them!

These are SO cute!! I live them! They are big enough for my large hands and my hands do not get burned when I take hot pans out of the oven! Great!!

Such cutie oven mitts! I got them as a Christmas gift for my sister but I secretly want to keep them. They're cheerful and look exactly like the photos.
