Have been using these for a few months now and they have been good so far. Only had a few instances of them not connecting to the system and thus not turning on or off - but in comparison to other Govee outdoor lights we have, these have been quite reliable (as implied with that comment, some of the other Govee Lights we have are not that dependable / don't keep connection to WiFi - not the WiFi as we have experimented to see if that is the issue - so it's the lights themselves that are the issue). For those units we use an external WiFi on/off switch that does work reliably. Would recommend these lights for outdoor illumination requirements.

I picked these up mainly to add some lighting around the yard and honestly they’ve been a lot more fun than I expected. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once everything was plugged in the Govee app made it easy to control the lights and experiment with different colors and scenes. The brightness is impressive too. Each light is powerful enough to highlight trees, landscaping, or the house itself without looking washed out. I like that you can switch between colorful lighting for holidays or parties and normal white lighting for everyday use. These types of lights can put out around 1000 lumens each and give you a wide range of color temperatures, so they work well for both decoration and practical lighting. The scene modes are where these really shine. There are a bunch of presets, and the ability to customize colors makes it easy to match whatever vibe you’re going for Halloween, Christmas, or just lighting up the yard at night. Overall they’ve been a great addition outside and definitely make the house look a little more “put together” at night.

I love these lights! They mount easily whether you want them on the ground or elsewhere. I didn’t want to move them every time I mowed the grass so I zip tied them to a metal pole on my house. They are bright, sync to the app with no issue, and have endless color choices! Govee has a great warranty as well and excellent customer support and service! These are great for daily lighting and even better for holidays!

Great lights but i was disappointed that they did not have the light options such as the lightning effect that my neighbor has on a cheaper set of govee lights
