Women's Vintage Padded Push up One Piece Swimsuits Tummy Control Bathing Suits Plus Size Swimwear

I forgot to post my bra size! One of the biggest problems for me (and for other women of substantial size) is finding a bathing suit that fits my large upper deck. OH...it was all fun and games when I was in my 20's-40's with my natural large size, but now...not so much. The Girls are drifting downstairs and it sucks that they need a pick me up shelf to look a little more perky but not squeezed into by some latex dominatrix outfit that pops The Girls up in a very suggestive stance that gives me cleavage that challenges the crevices of the Grand Canyon. I'm 56, and a size 42 G. My kangaroo pouch has enlarged (carrying monster sized babies contributed to my frontal real estate). I'm posting the size 18 bathing suit that I bought from Amazon after seeing it posted on this site. I'm 5'2"and weigh more than I should, but that's life. I have a body that I can still flaunt on the beach...and it needs to be covered so I don't receive a ticket for indecent exposure. Anyway, I think the straps are thinner than I like to have them. A little more wider would probably keep them from twisting. However, the back fat is contained and not unsightly. It comes with pads in the bra area which does offer a bit of a lift. It also keeps the nipples from poking through. And the padding isn't that HUGE foam cup boulder holder that just draws more attention to The Girls. Looks like they can be removed from a slot that opens up at the top. The cut is flattering for me. I like the vintage style. The tummy control works. It contains all the curves and doesn't feel like I'm being squeezed by a boa constrictor. I like the color. It's called Rose Red. It is complimentary to my skin tone and I stand out in the midst of all the black swimsuit wearers on the beach. I make a statement that's for sure. I don't blend in with the beach crowd. I don't know how it works in the water as I usually just sit and read. If I go swimming in it I'll write a follow up post. The backside rides up a bit when I walk. However, it doesn't ride up like a thong😉 a bit of the butt cheek does pop out. For the first time buying a suit off the web, I believe it worked out better than I anticipated. Not at all uncomfortable. It will work for me at the beach as I sit in my chair as I paint, read, and talk to others.

So flattering, This is THE best bathing suit if you have a large saggy chest. The bra is built with MOLDED cups and adjust able straps. I’ve ordered in two colors already and may just order more. I’m 60 years old. I’m 5’5” 175lbs and ordered a 12. I like my bathing suits a little tight and fitted.

I am 5'11" weigh about 140lb and have a really long torso. I was so happy to find that this swimsuit was plenty long. However the bum area does not cover well at all. Which usually is not a problem for me because I wear swim shorts anyway. But it was so ill fitted in the bum area that this would just be uncomfortable even with swim shorts on. I like to wear swim clothes that I'm not pulling, tugging at or simply uncomfortable in. My bum is pretty flat so the poor fitting bum area wasn't do to me having lots of curves in that area. The swim suit has such a pretty ruching affect on the stomach and the fabric is beautiful. I loved how it hide my stretched out skin ( from having kids) on my tummy that tends to look like a bunch of extra rolls. It hid my stomach imperfections amazingly. I am sad it doesn't fit well in the bum area because of the narrow cut. I wasn't sure about sizing as I was inbetween sizes. I played it safe and bought a size 8 which was the bigger end of what size I could fit. I should have bought a Size 6. I think it would gave been snigger in the rib/chest area and given me more chest support. I wear around a 32 D or 34 C/D but I am saggy from having babies. So I need more support. A smaller size probably would the trick. But I will be returning this with how uncomfortable the bum area is.

I have this suit in a few different colors and the sizing seems to vary. I tend to buy darker colors out of modesty, but I got the lake green for a trip to Bermuda. To my surprise, I thought that color looked great on me (with a mid-summer tan) and I was very happy with the fit. I have three other suits in the 10 and they are kind of loose, but I also purchased this color in the 10 and it is much more snug. Maybe the others have stretched out? My only complaint is that there is not enough lift in the chest, my middle aged breasts could use it! For reference I am 5'3" 135lbs and wear a 34C.

There are many things to really love about my new suit (sz 16 for 5'6" and 200 lbs). The fit was good. The color is bright. I have only worn it once, so it is hard to say how the color will hold up at this point. As someone who recently took up swimming almost daily, the impact of the pool chemicals will have their effect fairly quickly, even though I rinse the suit well after each swim. The adjustable straps are wonderful and do help with bustline support. The band under the bustline is not as supportive as I would have liked. The cut of the front neckline and the back are fabulous, just modest enough for my taste. I would have liked to have had a bit more width in the fabric in the crouch area, but the suit stays put and does not ride up or expose the backside. While I do appreciate the rouching in the front to help disguise the tummy area, I would have preferred much more support. It is not a tummy control suit as I thought it was. Still the suit is pretty, reasonably priced, and has many other good qualities.

This is hands-down the BEST swimsuit I have ever owned! OK, there are a couple things that could be better, but it is still absolutely magical, and I feel pretty in it. I’m a 47 yo mom with an overly large chest and I weigh 165 lbs. I never look good in ANY kind of swimwear. But this suit makes me look 10 lbs thinner, and just gives a lovely, sculpted shape. I’m not hanging out of it anywhere, but it’s not so modest that I feel like a granny, LOL! The *small* things that could be improved: the cups are sewn in, not removable, and they are a little conspicuous. Like…you can see the circles. But it doesn’t take away too much from the look. It’s also just a teeeeeeny bit loose in the bum, but that is no doubt a problem with my very specific body. I’m not taking off stars for either of these issues, that’s how slight they are. And I only mention them to help people make a great decision.

I bought a large (normally I'm a medium) and it is way, way too small for me. The swimsuit seems like it is well made but the sizing is very different from where I live.

When I asked about the return policy, no one gave me an answer though I am a constant customer and I buy a lot of items from this site !! I. summary , it has been a waste of money for me !!
