I’ve been traveling quite a bit for work this year and wanted another carry on bag to replace my old one. I found a really cute bag that looked identical to this one through Pottery Barn, but it was $100. This is more than what I wanted to spend on a bag that seems more like a novelty than an investment piece of luggage. So, I turned to Amazon and found this for $35.00.It looks almost identical to the $100 PB bag, and I am looking forward to carrying it for spring travel. With that said, for the price point, you get a $35 bag that is a bit thin, plastic handles, and certainly will not compete with true high quality luggage. If I can get a couple years out of this as a weekend bag or carry on, it will have met my expectations.I do like the fact that the interior is lined- with a thin black nylon material, and that it comes with a shoulder strap. The color is nice- not a teenager bubblegum pink but rather a soft peach/pink. The size is also generous- one large open compartment with a zipper on top. There are four small metal feet in the bottom of the bag, although the bag doesn’t stand well in its own and the feet seem small, so not sure how practical this really is. This is really meant to be used as a weekend tote to throw clothes, shoes and toiletries in.Although I haven’t traveled with it yet, some potentially downsides include the light color and material- easy to stain, likely hard to clean other than spot treat. It is also not padded or well lined enough to serve as a computer bag. It’s really just a thin, velvet bag that can fold in on itself to store.Even though I wasn’t expecting a lot for $35, I was hoping for thicker material and a more structured bag. Overall, the feels a bit flimsy and unstructured. However, if I can use this for a couple of years, I’ll be happy.

Beautiful to look at! I haven’t used it yet, so I can’t speak to the durability or functionality. I ordered the light pink and it’s a beautiful muted blush color. The fabric is a soft velvet. The biggest con I can see is there are no pockets at all. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap. The bag is very big and seems like it will hold all you need for a weekend trip. It was very mis-shaped when I took it out of the box. It would be better if it were stored/shipped with some sort of stuffing to help hold the shape. It does have a decent amount of structure so the sides stand up on their own without collapsing in too much when it’s empty. I’d say for the price, this is a great bag. I’ll try to update my review after my upcoming Vegas trip.

Absolutely beautiful! I added a luggage tag from Target, it didn’t come with the bag. The bag is very spacious, perfect for a weekend getaway. However, it does not seem super sturdy...like if it’s too heavy, over time it seems like maybe a stitch on the handle may come loose. The handles have more of a light plastic feel...It just doesn’t seem worth $60. All in all a good buy, pleased overall.

Excellent bag! I recently used it for a trip to Disney. It’s very roomy and i used it as my “bathroom bag” this is where I stored all of mine and my husband’s toiletries, hair products, shower, personal and skincare products and hair and make up tools. Everything fit! The bag is not only beautiful and well made, it’s very sturdy. It comes with a shoulder strap too. If you were going on a short overnight trip, you cold easily take everything in this one bag; unless you just like having multiple bags. Lastly it’s just super cute and the color and velvet are on trend. The bag help up perfectly during this trip. I wouldn’t check it in at an airport though because it would get trashed, and I think it may be too big for the overhead compartment. If you wanted to carry it in, you will have to measure it weeks dm check with your airline’s guidelines.

Beautiful! It looks expensive and is extremely roomy. The velvet has kind of a low pile, so it doesn't crush or look shiny with atretching or pressure. The zipper is strong, I abused it, and the handles were long enogh for shoulder use, even when the bag was stuffed. I liked that this bag was plain, I tied a scarf around the handle if I felt like having fun. I could see carrying this year-round - despite being velvet, like I said, the pile is low enough to make it seem close to being maybesuede-ish at a glance. If this bag were available in canvas - I would definitely buy another one for seasonal reasons. I was really happy with it, and definitely reccomend!

Used it for a quick weekend getaway to Vegas and it was great. It’ was roomy enough for me to put everything in fit from my thigh high boots, two pairs of sandals, seven outfits, all my hair supplies, and a lot more. It was pretty sturdy even though at times I thought for sure it was going to break but it lasted. Only downfall was, it was heavy but I’m pretty sure it’s because I overpacked. Overall, the bag is PERFECT!!!! It’s definitely worth the money. Just pack light 🙂

Second one I own because my dog devoured the first. But I like is so much I replaced it. It's just a heavy fabric. No sturdy frame inside so it can mush up when on the plane. I happen to like velvet and I do get compliments because it is different to travel with. The velvet can start to show wear. So be knid.

The bag itself I love, the shape and size is great and exactly how it looks in the picture. I wanted to leave a five star review however on the second time I used it, the strap broke. I get it’s a cheaper bag and you get what you pay for but it wasn’t even full or that heavy when the strap broke which makes me sad. I’m still using it as an overnight bag but I wanted it for travel and with a broken strap it’s hard to move around an airport.
