LURVE this. I use a q-tip and a little water to brush around the top of the rim. I found this product to be awesome and a step back in time to how women stored and used makeup. It's extremely easy to use, the color lasts a while. Due to how inexpensive it is, is why I was able to buy it without buyers remorse. As far as stain resistance, be careful. Pulling the pot from the box, I got dye all over my hand. There's a couple of spots that has the stain on the outside of the clay pot. I guess that's my only irk.

I wanted to love this so much but I just couldn't. Its such a mess and stains everything it touches and it doesn't last on your lips very long. It does last on your cheeks though but it really stains everything so don't let it touch your hands or fingers. Or countertops too lol

Love the product, I just wish it had instructions. For example, Do not use your fingertips to apply, you definitely need a lip brush. Stain is beautiful and lasted all day.

Love this product. The color is rich and goes on very easily. I recommend using a small lip brush to apply, it is a tint and your finger will stain. I have not used it on my cheeks as blush, but others seem to like it as blush.

Amazing pigment and can be layered with a gloss or moisturizer.

I was really excited to try this because I’ve seen so many videos online, but unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. The stain was barely noticeable and didn’t give that rich, long-lasting color I was expecting. It also didn’t apply the same way as the ones I’ve seen—mine felt inconsistent and didn’t really build up color no matter how much I tried. I was hoping for a natural, pigmented tint, but it just didn’t deliver. Overall, it might work differently for others, but in my experience it wasn’t worth it and didn’t match what I saw advertised.

First one arrived shattered and a replacement was sent right away. Second one has such little color that I couldn’t even get one lip covered. Total waste of money. Don’t waste your money. You can see the dark spots in the picture and those were the only spots with any pigment. You can see the spot on my hand and that is how dark the pigment from the dark areas was. Lighter spots had zero pigment.

Arrived well packaged and tested a beautiful color. Using a damp lip brush seems best.
