I got this as a gift for my girlfriend and she absolutely loved it. If your friends or loved ones are into plants this is the perfect gift. It wasn't too pricey, the glass itself was thick, it's super easy to clean, it took me two minutes to assemble and it looks so clean and chic. The size is perfect for a shelf or desk.

I'm updating my review to 4 stars. I submitted a return/replacement request and received a new terrarium within a few days. The new one arrived in perfect condition. I'll need to return the broken one, a bit of an inconvenience, but I understand. Hopefully, the return of the damaged one will help the maker improve design or QA. So, I'm changing my review from 3 stars to 4.Original Review: I had this product saved for about a month while I took the time to research and compare others that are similar. I finally decided to go with this one, in spite of the few negative reviews. Unfortunately, one of the two items I received arrived a few hours ago and one had a broken wooden base.I'm so sad because I've been looking forward to these for a while. I was able to quickly assemble the (unbroken) one. It's so adorable and the size is perfect. I'm happy that the rod fits through the holes on the glass and the finish on the wood is beautiful and natural, perfect for my room's aesthetic... I just wished I could use both.

It is a very attractive little place to set my plant cuttings. The wood is light weight but attractive. The glass bulbs are pretty sturdy. All in all a good price and a good product.

I saw this item and realized that it would make a perfect gift due to its uniqueness. I have bought several for family and friends. According to them it is easy to assemble .

Easy to put together ! And looks great

Very cute looking but I do not recommend this item. The glass is thin and flimsy. This fell on to floor on its own and broke into pieces.
