This Stuff Is Great!
This sweetener is soooo good, I cannot tell that it isn't sugar, which is saying something. I had to cut sugar out of my diet and had tried all the artificial and natural sweeteners I knew of, they were poor substitutes taste-wise, had too many health concerns, and a lot of them had fillers that were as high glycemic as sugar itself. Didn't try monk fruit for a long time as I thought it would be another let down and thought it was like agave, just another actual sugar. I was so wrong! This monk fruit sweetener has a GI of zero! The small amount you have to use makes it very economical, one level scoop (tiny!) sweetens 16 oz coffee. It is heat stable, safe to cook with, but I have not used it that way yet but plan to.

Low carb diet? Buy it. Tastes amazing!
For someone that loves fruit but is in a low carb diet, this thing is amazing. Don’t be fooled by the small size. It lasts forever and I actually love the taste. It’s high quality. I’ve lost 30 lbs in 3 months and having this has definitely helped me put iff sugar.

Dissolving it in water before use
The powder doesn’t dissolve easily in liquid, so it’s more convenient to dissolve it in warm water using a frother first. This creates a concentrated liquid, making it easier to use for the next few times. I tried it in soymilk and noticed an aftertaste—it’s not unpleasant and is definitely better than stevia, though different from cane sugar. When I used it in coffee, I added cinnamon and was pleased to find that it completely masked the aftertaste. I wouldn’t recommend using it for very sweet drinks, as the aftertaste would be more noticeable. A mild sweetness produces a light fruity flavor that is much more enjoyable. I also noticed a buildup of sweetness with this product. I added just a small amount to achieve the desired taste, but when I diluted it five times in my coffee, the sweetness level remained the same, which I found quite strange yet favorable. This means I only need to use very little to achieve the desired sweetness. Although it’s natural and calorie-free, I still prefer to use as little as possible.

A little goes a very long way!
The monk fruit powder extract is VERY concentrated and wonderful for both baking or using for coffee or other drinks. It is sweeter than they describe, so us very sparingly because a little goes a long way.
