That was easy!
I used this HG Drain & Plug Unblocker in the sink in the toilet as the water seemed sluggish when emptying. It appears to have done the trick as the waste water now clears much quicker.

Unblocked sink
Bathroom sink was draining very slowly, added half a bottle to sink left for an hour as instructed. Within a few hours water drained away well with running water. Please take note of safety precautions and use gloves & eye protection. Would recommend this product.

Does the job
I do find HG products work the best (I have pretty much the entire range) and this was no different. It unblocked a sink that was mainly full of hair and soap sludge without any issue.
