These charcoal tongs are worth the money to me. They are designed so that your hand is not over the charcoal. I remove the unused charcoal for the next cook.

I originally bought these tongs to handle charcoal, but I think I'll end up using them just as much for food. I love the design, the length, grip, and overall concept are excellent. They feel great in the hand and give me good control when working around a hot grill. What really stands out, however, is SNS as a company. I recently reached out to them with a question, and they responded incredibly quickly. In today's world, it's refreshing to find a company that genuinely cares about its customers and stands behind its products. I've become a big fan of SNS products and have purchased several of them recently. Tongs work great for my large green egg to be able to reach farther back and down towards grill. Stainless looks good but all the stamped edges were really sharp so I had to take a 100 grit sanding sponge to all edges otherwise I would cut myself grabbing these quick. Overall great bbq tool I just wish build quality was a notch higher.

It is a sturdy product and extremely useful if you are dealing with charcoal, especially lump charcoal.
