Great set of tongs
Great set of tongs and makes it much easier to arrange hot charcoal in your grill.

Works as described and feels quality
After diving into charcoal bbqing I noticed the need to have some tool to articulate coal briquettes instead of using a fire poker which is clumsy or my bbq tongs meant for food and getting them dirty. This item fits the bill. Feels good quality. Rubber on the handle is appreciated to keep the heat at bay. Functions as it says. Picks up single briquets or similar sized charcoal with ease. Satisfied with the buy.

The Device You Never Knew You Needed
This is a bit expensive for what it is, but I'll tell ya, it is super useful. Its nice to have something dedicated to digging through the ash and charcoals. The angle of this device makes it very useful and easy to manipulate the placement of charcoal without getting burned.

Swing and a miss
I love SNS, and I own both the Slow&Sear and the cast iron drip/griddle pan. Got these as well, assuming it would be an easy slam dunk since I trust the company. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The right angle of the tongs is perfect for functionality when working over a kettle, but the head of the tongs is very smooth. They can barely grip the grate to open it up, and you drop every piece of charcoal you try to snag, effectively making them useless for me. They needed to have some sort of improved texture, or more shapliness to the inner face of the tongs in order to hang on to something without slipping. I'm giving it two stars since the overall quality is clearly great, it's just not designed well enough. Not sure what type of cherries everyone else has been picking with these, but mine were feelin' pretty slippery...
