Does this item come in the original equal box?

Yes!! It’s the best deal ever! I usually pay a dollar last for 250 packets in here I’m getting 1000 I think it’s crazy how people say it’s not as sweet as the one in the grocery store?? Wake up it’s the same damn thing. Same box, same taste, see equal!!

Does anyone know exactly how many carbohydrate grams per packet? "Less than one" isn't specific enough for me; I'm a diabetic.

Aspartame is 4 Calories per gram, same as sugar. A teaspoon of sugar is 4 grams, or 16 calories. But aspartame is 200 times sweeter than sugar, so to get the sweetening of one teaspoon, you'd need 16/200 calories worth = 0.08 calories. Aspartame is metabolized like its components, aspartic acid and phenylalanine, both of which are amino acids. Your body will do with it what it does with proteins, which are made up of amino acids. I’m trying to order this item but I’d like to know the expiration date in a box

I just looked this question up. Apparently aspartame has an indefinite shelf life. They have begun adding a best buy date. If stored properly it will last a very long time.

Best Tasting No-Calorie Sweetener

Equal is a great no calorie sweetener. It sweetens well and leaves no chemical after-taste. I hate the other artificial sweeteners and don't like stevia either. It dissolves well in any hot beverage. I haven't tried to dissove it in a cold beverage. This is the only sweetener that I will use, and I put it in my coffee, tea and applesauce. I sprinkle it over apples to make "baked apples" in the microwave and the heat doesn't ruin it's sweet taste. I have been using this for years, and nothing else does it for me but Equal!
