Low price, great quality.
For the most part, I am happy with the camera. My only problem is it takes a little bit of time before it starts recording so you actually are just walking up to the door before it starts recording and the person has to walk up five steps and across the deck without being recorded. It is clear in the daytime and at night time as well. The color is very good. It has a wide angle and I can see 4 of my neighbors houses with one camera. Not too difficult to set up. Great quality for the price. I have purchased four of these and have them set up all over the outside of my house and I can even see the vehicles driving on the road (160ft away).

Great camera if you need wireless installation
I needed to monitor my back patio area and the adjacent parking lot nearby. I did not want to run power and data wiring to this outdoor location. It shipped in a nice box with great packaging and an instruction book that is well written. You need to install the Vicohome app and that is easy to do. The wifi setup for use in the home is typical and went smoothly. Note: it only works on the 2.4 Ghz Frequency. Installation was stupidly simple. I used a cordless drill/driver and a step ladder. I put three screws thru the mounting holes and into the trim on my home and attached the camera. I charged the camera overnight and even though it arrived at 50% power, it took hours to get it charged 100%. The camera attaches to the mount very simply with a threaded stud and a locking ring. This whole process is super DIY friendly. The videos are captured when motion is detected. Each video is 10 s and I think that is adjustable but it is fine with me so I left it alone. The motion sensitivity is adjustable and I have it on medium. I tested it by walking around the perimeter of my yard and it catches all motion inside my yard and beyond to the parking lot behind my home (apartments). The videos are stored in the cloud and available to view or download through the app. I can also store them redundantly on a micro SD card - I chose not to use that.Installed for one week and taking about a dozen videos per day. Battery is at 94%. The battery in this camera is not removable. You either have to take the camera down to recharge it or bring a charging cable to the camera. I plan to rig up an extension cord with a charging cable when I need to charge the battery. This camera has extra features and additional cloud storage for a fee. I don't use any of that. I get 7 days of unlimited cloud storage for free. After a full month, if all goes well, I plan on getting another one for the driveway beside our home. My only other experience with security cameras is the Skybell doorbell camera (also no fee for cloud storage). This VicoHome camera streams faster with the same resolution setting. I am satisfied with it.ProsGreat package and instructionsEasy installationNice AppExcellent video - I can zoom the live feed if I want to check something out real time.I can view live feed and recorded videos from anywhere. Works great! No Cloud Storage FeesConsI wanted to set up my wife's phone so that she can see the videos. Instructions for that are included but I could not get it to work. I have not called support about this but I will sometime. This is a small inconvenience at the moment for us.I removable battery would have been nice.

Quality video
I have purchased 4 cameras and plan on 2 more! These cameras are great! Night or day the video and audio quality are amazing! Setup is extremely easy, being able to monitor my house while Iโm gone makes me more at ease. I have the cameras inside and outside my house, video quality from sunlight or indoor lighting, these cameras are the best.

Excellent camera and companion app
I bought this 3 years ago and it still works great! The battery has not degraded at all and still lasts a very long time (~monthly charging, all-season) nonstop recording EVERY motion at my door 24hr/day all year. The app (Vico Home) lets me access local recordings on the SD card for FREE and remains highly-functional (and free) with added functionality of free cloud storage for recent videos and motion detection notifications (super helpful). advanced options are available with paid subscription, but not needed.

It's A Decent Camera But..
I'm not sure what to think of this camera, and whether or not I'm going to go with a different brand.I got this camera for the sole purpose of watching the front area of our house because in the past we have had several times where someone damaged our old vehicle. The quality of the video is great - both day and at night. There are times when it lags but I'm sure that has to do with my Internet connection; so it's not the camera's fault.However...I have a few issues that kinda get on my nerves sometimes.First, when I go to view the live feed of the camera, most of the time I will encounter 'connecting' before actually showing the live feed. This can either go on for a couple to several seconds. But sometimes, it just doesn't connect at all...forcing me to close out of the app, then retry.Again, this could be an Internet issue? But idk.Second, there are times when it's not recording movement when it very well should be. For example, it will record when a car pulls up and parks within the zone I have set. But then it doesn't record individuals exiting their vehicles and walking. This has happened to my own family's car and selves. It shows us pulling in and parking (the white car by the tree), but doesn't record us walking directly in front of our house and into our yard, when it should...because it's within the zone I have set.And YES, I have it set up to record when people pass by, not just vehicles. However it seems to have no issue of recording neighbors passing by in front of our house.Third, I have a zone set up. It cuts off just before the end of our block. However, I'll get notified about an approaching vehicle...ONCE it's already at the end of our block and about to make a turn. It's out of the zone at that point. So I like this camera, but with the annoying issues...I might look for another. Unless I can get assistance/feedback on what could be causing these problems I am having. If these issues can be fixed, I won't look for another camera. So - Not detecting movement by people when it should, notifying me of things that are OUT of the zone I have set, trouble connecting to see the live feed.EDIT: So I have done some research outside of the pamphlet provided and have done some things to improve my experience with this camera.1. In order to greatly extend the battery life, I turned off audio. It's not something I needed anyway.2. I edited the area (zone) I wish to record, reducing it down to only what really matters.3. Next I plan on putting the camera at a different angle to see if that helps with capturing movement. I've also figured that the trees that are lined up along the sidewalk in front of my house can interfere with what the camera is able to capture. I will be cutting some of the trees to improve visibility. So, with my edited comment - I really do like this camera. Hopefully I can get the recording of movement problem fixed, by adjusting the positioning of the camera. I would like to get a 2nd camera as well.As far as the connectivity issues, if you experience that like I do sometimes - it's the internet, not the cameras, fault. So with that part I will just have to deal sometimes. So overall, for the price and what this camera offers, it's a pretty good camera!
