100 Days of Drawing (Guided Sketchbook): Sketch, Paint, and Doodle Towards One Creative Goal

This book works for me at this time. I want to draw and sketch daily and needed a little push/inspiration. The prompts are fun, the instruction simple. I would have preferred the prompts/blank pages were in a separate book - like a workbook with mixed media paper. I can still work with these pages as I will probably use markers, pens and maybe coloured pencils. You are offered different ideas to fill your pages. Some pages are foundation drawings to complete, others are blank, some are black and there are even colourful washes to draw on! I intend to have fun!

My daughters absolutely were thrilled to receive this book on the first day of school. They love drawing in it every school day as we count to the 100th day of school. The variety has been wonderful. Their favorite pages so far was the week they got to use gold gel pens! I highly recommend this book.

I’ve already bought this 3 times because I keep gifting it. It has so many fun prompts and my favorite part is that she includes plenty of examples of her work to inspire and teach you.

I like the pages with her drawings. That's helpful. The other, companion book, Draw Everyday, is too difficult. My mind isn't that fertile, and I don't want to search for images when I can't come up the one asks for. I do loved her courses at creativebug.com.

I am a big fan of August Wren. This book is great for beginners and experienced artists. It keeps the creative juices flowing. I am a fan!

This is such a great book for artists of all levels. It pushes your creativity and imagination in the best way.

Se você for fiel e desenhar todos os dias, ao final do livro vai estar ainda mais apaixonado por arte.O livro tem muitas páginas em branco, mas as páginas que são ilustradas, são lindas e o suficiente pra te inspirar.

I don't write many reviews, but I can really recommend this book. It has taught me to make ugly art, to just not care and just draw. You go from making faces on coloured splotches to doing full portraits in a fun, loose, scribbly way. You get to draw cups and planters and houses. There is something for everyone. It encourages you to just draw. I personally decided to do one page in every category, go to the end and then start over with the second page of each category, rather than doing them for several days in a row. I really feel my drawing has improved. Left is one of the first pages I did and right one of the more recent ones. I have never finished one of these books, but I know I will finish this one. And if there is a second book, I'll get that too. Great fun to spend a few minutes every day just drawing. I've also used a bit of watercolour, warps a tiny bit, but who cares? So yeah, highly recommend
