GUNSLICK Shotgun Rod Adapter (8-32x5/16-27)

The threads are clean and the 8-32 easily screws into a standard rifle rod and the shotgun brushes and mops easily screw into the 5/16-27 threads. Yet there is no wobble. The fit is solid. The 5/16-27 thread is an odd size (though taps and dies are available from Amazon) and it's easy to make up a rod with easily found 8-32 fittings and use this adapter to accept shotgun fittings.

It is great that this is available, I have several. This should be included with the accessory rod instead of forcing an additional purchase. If you loose it and don't have a spare you are stuck until you can order or go to a store.

It allows me to use my tiption 27-45 cleaning rod to scrub my shotguns without having to pay for a shotgun rod... saved me some dough which is always a plus.

This is an adaptor, 8-32 male on one end and shotgun rod female on the other. Works for my ramrod.
