FORTREZZ does NOT work with NEXIA
Hello,I am a long time Nexia subscriber. Nexia broadcast that their system is now controlling Fortrezz products. All lies! They are 6 months out from supporting the Fortrezz products. They announced at CES 2014 that they are compatible. Lies!

Great Addition to my Smart Things
AMAZING addition to my Smart Things family of connected things. This had been on my to-do list for a while, as I have numerous Smart Things water sensors throughout the house. As for adding it to my Smart Things, as soon as I plugged it in, my app immediately recognized it and added it. I have it setup to immediately close the valve if any water sensor reports moisture. Tested it numerous times and without fail, in less than a second, the valve fully closes and remains closed (even if the sensor is no longer reporting moisture). As for the plumbing install, I had it done by my plumber when having a water softener installed. Interesting tidbit about the plumber's reaction - he had never seen one before and was very impressed when he saw the demo. Why not 5 stars? The price! I definitely recall this same device being high-300 last year (for the 1" valve), so it was frustrating to pay nearly a hundred more. The only other con to this device is the manual lever is very difficult to turn, almost feeling like I could break the plastic handle. There's a standard plug that's included, so it's easy enough to close / open the valve either via the app or the touch button on the valve. Photos are included with this review. Thanks for reading!

Very useful addition to my Smartthings network
Very useful addition to my Smartthings network. Use it as a vacation house where I turn off the water whenever I leave. This saves me from having to climb under the stairs to turn the water on/off and allows me to turn on the hot water before I get to my condo,

Good product but Overpriced
Returned it because it took to long for delivery. Seemed like a good product but I found another control valve that was just as good and about $200 less.

Garbage.
Software is no longer supported on zwave or smartthings. Manufacturer is unresponsive.

Works great so far
It's a valve, not much to review. It synced with my hub fine and sensors send the signal to shut the valve, it happens rather quickly once a sensor detects water.

I have a short term rental and have a few items automated. I have been using it for a few years now and have not experienced and issues. I do however open and close this item so that it does not get any calcium build up.Two years later and this water valve has worked flawlessly.

Great product, highly reccomend...
I have three of these on my ranch using Nexia as the Z-wave bridge service. I have 8 remote sensors also connected to them and work great. If you need to turn on or off water based on temp or water detected, this is the very best option for simple and low cost.
