How long does this burner take to boil water in a coffee pot?

Tested and confirmed. 8 mins to boil one cup. A similar size coil on my home stove top does it in 5 mins. This device cycles on and off as a safety mechanism. I tried to bring a 2-3 gallons to above boiling (pressure cooker), and it didn’t get past 5psi after 45 mins. But it was able to hold at that 5psi, just barely. Food got cooked.

Will this get plenty hot for frying bacon. Thinking about purchasing for my campers outdoor kitchen.

It gets hot quickly, to the point where the burner coils actually glow red-hot, when sert on "HIGH". It will definitely cook bacon!.

I assume it's a 110 volt appliance. Does it require a 15- or 20-amp fuse/circuit breaker in normal use?

A 15-amp circuit. ( I use mine on a 15-amp circuit that also serves a few light fixtures w/o problems)
