Cascade Series CASBO35PF Base Cabinet Pull-Out Kitchen Organizer 3-7/8"W x 26-3/4"H x 21-1/2"D - Baltic Birch - Blum Soft Close Slides

This product is on the right in the first photo, and on the back in the second photo. We did a kitchen addition and remodel, including total refit with custom cabinets. Both of the organizers are by the same company, the one on the left and foreground came with one of the cabinets we ordered. This product now occupies what was a five-inch "filler" space left over when the cabinets were installed. I found this three-inch product that I concluded would be perfect to make use of the unused space. When I ordered, it was the only organizer I could find that I thought would do the job. When it arrived, it became obvious it was made by the same company that made the organizer that came with the cabinets. I had already modified the one with the cabinets as the metal rails left unaccessable space on each side of the shelves. I took those rails out and fastened 1/4"x1" Hemlock on each side of the shelves; that fix added another third to the shelf area. This organizer had the same rails, so I did the same fix and gained 50% shelf area. But wait, there's more. This organizer was designed so it mounted from the floor up, so was too tall to fit to allow the normal cabinet toe space. Also, the bottom glide was mounted sideways, and the top glide was mounted so the organizer "hung" from it. As constructed, it was not at all usable. After inspection of options, I removed the bottom glide, cut off all the bottom structure, inverted the organizer, installed both glides side by side on what was now the bottom of the organizer. After inverting it, I reinstalled the shelves with the Hemlock sides and, bada boom, it essentially was a match for the organizer that came with the cabinets. After cutting the appropriate opening in the filler panel and installing the modified organizer, I added a "trim" front that came with the cabinets so it now matches all the other cabinet fronts.

I was looking to add more storage to our kitchen, and had custom boxes made to fill the empty dummy blocks.An excellent quality unit that took a bit to install, a few small modifications to get it to function, but it works flawlessly now.Install less than an hour.

This extremely narrow pull out seemed well made and I would have loved to have been able to keep it. Unfortunately, it was nearly impossible to install in that narrow cabinet. If you are redoing a kitchen, have no countertops placed yet and the tools for nearly blind access to install screws, or are assembling your cabinets...buy this! If none of these things is true, choose a wider cabinet with space to work and buy the larger unit. Just didn’t work for us, so we returned it.

This took some skill to install but once my grandson got it figured out, he made it work as it was designed to. Very well engineered and it holds a lot of spices in a space that would have been a complete waste.

Fits our space perfectly! Needed something small next to our stove and this fits the space.

The product quality is good, but installation instruction is horrible. The instruction has no pictures and poorly written. I'm not a dumb. I have got a building permit and build a house before. I can read because I have a college degree. A simple picture would save me ton of time.
