Not successful this time
I have bought Scott’s before, many times. Sometimes it works very well and others not well at all. The Bermuda grass seed (2 bags), I bought, produced not a single blade of grass. Followed instructions as always. Very disappointing considering the expense, time and energy. Nature of the product I think.

ZERO germination
After 13 days, good weather and watered daily, not one single seed has germinated on a newly landscaped yard. Local nursery says it's likely been bagged in a warehouse too long just more Amazon warehouse garbage

Great seed , very late delivery and poor tracking info from Amazon
I’ve purchased this seed before and it is great Not happy though it’s been six days since it should have arrived. With only tracking info from just after purchased two weeks ago . 5 stars on the product, one star for Amazon not updating the tracking information

Choose something else
In 2012, Scotts Miracle-Gro was fined a record $12.5 million by the EPA for intentionally coating its Morning Song wild bird feed with toxic insecticides. The company added unapproved chemicals to prevent insects from eating the seed while in storage, resulting in the widespread poisoning and killing of wild birds. This isn’t the 1st or last time Scott’s has faced controversy, it’s just 1 of the shortest example. Yet you’re going to bring this Scott’s grass seed product near your home? You’re going to put it where your children and pets play? The US government recently made it easier for companies like Scott’s to avoid accountability and avoid publishing possible links to cancer. That was after Scott’s “allegedly pledged over a million dollars” to Trump. Do you really think Scott’s is going to clean up their act? Or did they just get a pass to continue poisoning civilians and wildlife? Just asking questions…

It's working
So in Central Texas, it's working for me. I didn't do anything to the soil prior or anything. I dropped it where absolutely nothing was growing, just plain dirt or whatever our soil in Texas might be. It's popping up, not a mowing height, but you can clearly see it. Alright, so if you like it and it's working, why not 5 stars old man? It basically comes in the size of a freezer bag. For $15+, I expect a normal size bag of seed. That is literally my only issue. Will it work for everyone? Probably not. We've gotten an extremely high amount of rain this year. I've literally watered once and like I said, zero preparation. There is a clump of dirt on the sidewalk and it also is growing on that due to run off. I feel it will work for most people though. I've bought it twice now and will be a repeat buyer.
