Goes with me everywhere
This knife was quite sharp when it arrived and has held it's edge since I got it. the blade is real Damascus and not just laser etched, and the wooden scales of the comfortable handle are high quality and finished smoothly enough that they could be mistaken for plastic. The knife flips open easily and smoothly with a satisfying little "snick" sound that lets you know that it's locked into place. It seems sturdy enough that I haven't noticed any looseness in the hinge or clip. This classy little knife has become my EDC, I like it a lot. There is one thing different about it in that the clip is mounted on the opposite end of the handle from other knives I own, that's not a knock on the knife, I just noticed the difference. With it's reasonable price, you can't go wrong.

Great Knife, Bad Clip
I live in rural western South Dakota and spend a lot of time outdoors and use this knife quite a bit in my day to day and for the most part it has served me really well this past summer. That said, I've had one issue with it that has gotten worse over time. Shortly after getting it the clip got bent and screws are just stripped so it's really frustrating to have a constantly loose clip. It's not an easy grip either because of size so I'm gonna throw this one in my fishing gear and am upgrading to the 3.75 inch blade for EDC. Hopefully I'll have better luck with that clip because again the feel and quality of it has been great minus the clip. I've had great luck with the damascus blade staying sharp and being easily sharpened. All the other hardware has been sturdy. I did see some reviews on other CIVIVI knives about the wood grain knives having issues with the clips at all, but I like the finish and feel a lot so I'm hoping that the clip will not be an issues with the 3.75".

beautiful blade, feels better than normal mini praxis
the damascus blade is so nice and actually feels real, textured. it’s not totally smooth like a normal mini praxis. this is my third one so far, i lost the first, and exchanged the second for those one. the two before were a green g10 handle, and as one of my first knives i thought it couldn’t get any better, yet here comes this beauty. i thought they grip would be significantly worse with the wood, but comparing back and forth to my g10 though it felt different i didn’t see a difference in performance. the clicking in and out of place sounds are more crisp sounding, which is probably the difference in material. i wasn’t sure when i got this i was gonna give up my other mini praxis but when i got it in hand im ready to give it up in a heart beat lol. weights the same, the clips very snug, will probably get looser with time as did my last one. and the clips was the only place that showed wear in my time of using it before. so yeah, if you ain’t got it, what are you doing? the only possible issue i had out the box was that some of the steels pattern seems blurry almost? but that could be totally normal. and of course really well done packaging as always and cut quality is a1 without sharpening.
