VermExon Peppermint Oil Insect & Pest Control Spray – 16oz Natural Plant-Based Bug Killer for Spiders, Ants, Flies, and Other Insects, Safe for Home & Kitchen Use

Love using peppermint oil based insect deterrent sprays (it’s not an insecticide so doesn’t kill them), because it doesn’t harm my pets nor chase away the bees (don’t spray directly onto flower heads). I used this product indoors and out recently, particularly outdoors before mowing grass, because the ants attack me and bite my ankles, get in my shoes, climb up & bite my lower legs. This product has stopped most of that completely. I spray ant mounds & little bit around the outside area of the mound, about 15-30 minutes before I mow. I don’t spray the whole yard typically unless I buy the bigger version with a water hose sprayer nozzle attached as my yard is very large. Be aware if you water or get rain, it needs to be reapplied to the grass. I also spray on my cement patio. I particularly like using this in the house as it smells pleasantly and does very well deterring ants, other insects, and I haven’t had any ants in the house this spring or early summer. Please note it will make a flood slippery with the oils, so be careful where you spray and clean up residue that gets anywhere on the floor where you walk and could slip. I do baseboards, under fridge/stove, doors leading outside, on the OUTSIDE of the door, not inside as an example.

This spray is great for keeping sweat bees and mosquitoes away when sitting outside.

It doesn’t work for lizards

This product does so well with repelling the bugs and doesn’t have a super strong scent. It just clears up fast so they tend to come back. Good for minimal defense but not for killing them completely.

This product is wonderful....stops ants on contact, safe around children, pets, use in the kitchen....I spray it everywhere around the inside and have virtually no pests entering the house where I swore a year ago (before this product) that my home was part of an ant farm!

I bought this peppermint oil to help keep roaches away, and I love the fresh peppermint scent. It’s easy to use around the house and makes the area smell much better than traditional pest-control products.

Not sure of the effects just yet, but the fragrance is pleasant, it doesn't bother my pup and willing to try anything that is not as toxic as some of the other pest control products. From what I saw in the first few days, it will not kill bugs on contact and appears to be just a deterrent. Obviously, when used outside it's somewhat temporary as the climate will dictate the effectiveness. Internally the scent is pleasant enough to use in moderation, but as mentioned earlier it may be effective in deterring, versus eliminating.
