Amazing keyboard
My dream was to have a keyboard made from CNC aluminum. That was my main goal. As for why the 75% format: Wobkey also makes the Crush80, but I wanted something smaller and more compact, so I went with the Rainy75 Pro.The packaging is excellent. The keyboard arrives in a plain shipping box, with a retail box inside. In the box you'll find: a keycap puller, a decent cable (though you'll only really use it for charging. For that price, a braided cable would have been a better option), a set of Mac OS keycaps, and a few spare switches in case any of the stock ones don't work. The keyboard itself built SOLID. The keycaps are of nice quality, switches are smooth and creamy. It's hot-swappable, so I tried swapping in Akko Cream Blue V5 switches just to test the tactility. Honestly, the stock switches were so good (largely thanks to the POM material) that I ended up doing the reverse. I put cream switches from this board into one of my other keyboards instead. The Rainy75 uses a gasket mount, so typing feels soft and responsive. The stabilizers come well-lubed out of the box no rattle, I had no need to mod them myself. It's wireless, and I've had no issues with that. I plugged the dongle into my USB hub and forgot about it. I have experienced no dropouts and no disconnects.Battery lasts about a week with RGB on at 25% brightness (solid color), or roughly a month with RGB off. I use it 10โ13 hours a day. There's no proprietary software, it runs on QMK/VIA instead. You download two JSON files from Wobkey's website and import them into VIA's Design mode, and the site will recognize your keyboard and let you customize layers and RGB. I'm not in love with VIA as an experience, but it's light and web based, so it doesn't eat up RAM or CPU.The keyboard weighs around 2 kg, feels cold and premium. The aluminum is well finished. I didn't find any chips or scratches out of the box. Though it is hard to clean once it gets dirty. After trying around 10 mechanical keyboards from several brands like Akko, Varmilo, Leopold, and Cherry, this is the best one I've used. Recommended.Downsides:Unlike the Crush80, this version doesn't offer other plate options. The PRO version is stuck with an FR4 plate, which leans more creamy-clacky than thocky in stock. If you want that deeper, creamier sound, you'll need to buy a PC or PP plate yourself. Since they are out of stock on Wobkey's website or Amazon, good luck finding it without relying on other platforms. The included keycap puller is very cheap. I'd bet it snaps within 1-2 times of completely swapping the switch set. A better one should've been included for this price.

Well built, premium feel, and gorgeous typing experience.
Typing on other keyboards just does not compare to the satisfaction you get on this keyboard. Had it for about a week now and have had no problems. Set-up and flashing firmware updates is easy. I prefer the subtle RGB backlighting and swapping between colours, patterns, and effects is easy. Since this board is very customizable swapping keycaps is easy. I cannot speak to the efficacy of the BT and 2.4 wireless connectivity as I have been using it solely through a wired connection. Responsive in gaming and makes typing fatigue-free and enjoyable.CNC aluminum case is very well machined. They weight of the keyboard prevents sliding around and it does not hollow in the least. The only negative I have is keeping the switch under the caps-lock key, but I appreciate how clean it keeps the look of the keyboard on the finished product.

Maybe the best keyboard at this price point
The Rainy 75 Pro is a wireless mechanical keyboard that sounds and feels great. Caveat side line - sounds and feels are different for different people. For example, some people like rythmic constant beat sounds but I find them annoying. But...I think, if you are like me and you type a lot on a desktop or laptop PC with things like emails, reports, documents, or maybe you're writing a book, a thesis, or just plain love to review things here on Amazon. Whatever strikes your fancy, chances are you will love this keyboard after coming from stock keyboards you get with your PC, laptop or Macbook. The Rainy 75 Pro worked straight out of the box as soon as I found the power on/off switch hidden away under the caps lock key. Once its turned on, there is very little reason to going back to turning it back off. This is because you're either constantly providing power to it (via USB C) and it just stays on waiting for you or it will go to sleep one minute after it can no longer wirelessly connect to your device via its 2.4ghz dongle or bluetooth connection. As soon as you power your device back on and tap on any key, the Rainy 75 will reestablish the connection in 1 second (my rough estimate). The closer you are to the supplied 2.4Ghz dongle, the faster the reconnection. The Pro version has a battery that can stay with you for 900 hours of typing sessions with its 7000 mAh capacity battery and as long as you have its RGB lighting turned off. This means, if you were to use this keyboard at work (without the RGB lighting on) and you work 8 hours a day in the office in front of a computer and have this keyboard wirelessly connected, you are good for roughly 112 days at work without ever having to worry about plugging it back into a USB port!Out of the box, the Rainy 75 Pro still had 60% remaining battery capacity. I connected it to a spare powered USB port and left it to charge to 100% anyway. I proceeded from that point to upgrading the Rainy 75 Pro to its latest firmware (found on Wobkey's website) and activating it for Windows mode (as I use Windows 11). Finally, I used the VIA.app to quickly configure some essential keys I will miss from a full sized keyboard such as PrintScr and Num Lock (for the gaming macros I use), mapping them to Fn-F12 and Fn-` respectively. I planned to add numpad numbers 12,3...0,+,-,/,* and the decimal point key to it as well in case there are apps out there that do need me to punch something on the numpad one day. If you occasionally use the number pad as it was intended, to punch in numbers into an app or spreadsheet using the number pad but you love the Rainy 75 as much as I do, I suggest that you purchase a separately sold number pad for this purpose.Did I mention using it while it was plugged in was a complete dream? I'm pretty sure my typing speed and accuracy went up by 10-15%. The cocoa (brown) key switches used in the Rainy 75 feel solid but the sound doesn't pound the room as much as the gaming keyboards I am used to. When I say solid, I mean there is a little more force or travel required before the keystroke is registered when compared with a gaming keyboard and each keystroke has that satisfying strike to it unlike gaming keyboards that only require the lightest tap (so you can quickly get off that shot in-game) but I never really noticed these "advantages" in a gaming keyboard as I am usually stronger with my fingers (trained on a real typewriter). This review compares my experiences with the last decade or so of me exclusively using gaming keyboards. I've used a lot of gaming keyboards from brands like Razor, Corsair, Logitech and the various iterations/models they release. Compared to these, I was completely blown away. It reminded me of the old PS/2 keyboards that IBM used to make but it wasn't as chatty. Its called "Rainy" because the keystrokes sometimes sounds like raindrops landing. The key caps itself feels solid and has that matte feel to it when you slide your finger across them unlike the aforementioned gaming keyboards I've used in the past which feels very plastic-ky.As I mentioned, feels and sounds can be very personal. For me, this keyboard makes me want to type again and that is a difficult thing to convince me to do these days when I can just play games instead (think A-W-S-D keys). The Rainy 75 feels solid and oozes quality when compared to some more expensive mechanical keyboard options out there. I would wholeheartedly recommend one to my family and friends.Highly Recommended.
