Use This if You'd Like To Be Stranded
Zero stars really. This kill switch left me stranded an hour from home. Got in my car. Dash lights on as normal. Go to start engine - everything immediately dead. Turn kill switch off and back on. Dash lights on as normal. Go to start engine - everything immediately dead. I repeated this one more time - same result. Seemed apparent the switch was making enough contact for dash lights and then cutting out completely when asked for more current. I did not have tools and the original negative battery clamp with me in the car - that would have saved some hassle. I went back to retrieve my car the next day and put the original battery clamp on and the engine fired right up. It's been good for 72 hours now - safe to say it was indeed this junky switch. I opened it up and it's all pretty flimsy in there. Only had this installed a couple months and in that time only used the kill switch a few times. Installed fine and it's a good concept, but with a cheap and flimsy internal switch mechanism.

Very well made and easy to use.
Very useful items which I use as cut off switches for my motorhome house batteries.

Works great
These work great. I used them for my boat. When I bought my boat, nothing was tied in to a shut off switch and/or fuse box or breaker. So I rewired the whole boat for a tighter and neat fit. And because of these shut off switches, I dont have to worry about battery drain when not in use. I also worked my 3 bank charger to be able to charge the batteries without the batteries switches being on.

Sturdy and simple to use.
Finally a sturdy easy to use switch! Replaced several other switches that either fell apart or stopped working, draining expensive batteries.

Correction. It works, with one IMPORTANT thing to know
My prior review was in error. I am installing the switch between the chasis ground, and 2 batteries wired in parallel. Connect the neg of bat 1 to the switch (either to the battery lug or the 3/8 post in a marine style battery). Connect the negative from the second battery to the same negative pole of bat 1. Now connect the chasis ground to the other end of the switch. IMPORTANT. pressing down on the switch when in the off position closes the circuit. My batteries are in a box under a stair tread in my RV. Stepping on the stair with the switch in the off position turned on the lights. I had to modify the lid so it does not press down on the switch when standing on the tread. Blocked the lid up about 1/4"
