Hydrostone quick setting white / light gray casting plaster. Full strength gypsum plaster is not cut with cheap plaster fillers like the popular brand! Designed for strength and casting detail. Accepts liquid or crystal pigment colors and stains. Packed in water tight resealable bag, not a leaky carton. Great for model railroads scenery, gaming castings, and school project dioramas. Not for body casting. Review: Great product! - I have had great results from this product, easy 2:1 (2 parts plaster to 1 part water) solution. Easy to mix, however mixing is the key, you can't just pour in the plaster and water on top and not mix it well, kinda like making cookie dough, you don't leave pockets of unmixed product. Not sure what the one bad reviewer had issues with, but likely operator error! I use this as a hydration/moisture providing material in making formicaria. You do need to know that this stuff has a .28% expansion property that if confined inside of a say an acrylic box, depending on your application, it can expand enough to break the acrylic box container, but used with proper allocation and application it works great. If you need something that has less expansion properties then use this vendors Ultracal30 product. 5 stars, will be purchasing again in the future.
