Perfect for School, Work, and Everyday Use
Been using this MacBook Air for a bit now and I love it. It’s incredibly lightweight, so carrying it around is effortless, and the M4 chip is seriously fast. Everything loads instantly, multitasking is smooth, and the display looks amazing with crisp visuals and fluid scrolling. The MagSafe charger is also a huge plus and makes charging much more convenient. My only complaint is that it can get a little warm during heavier use, but it hasn’t affected performance at all. Overall, it’s a great laptop and definitely worth it if you want something powerful, portable, versatile and reliable.

I sound like an Apple fan boy but besides that it is truly a great quality product.
It’s honestly one of the best laptops to buy. It has like anything its own little annoying quirks, but that’s mostly software. The device itself is phenomenal. Not to be dramatic, but it’s amazing build quality and design. Everything works very well. Great battery life. The screen quality is great. The trackpad and keyboard are great. The color is pretty. Charging speed is 1 hour to maybe an hour and a half. Battery life though, wow, outstanding. And the performance is fantastic. Yes, you can absolutely play games (check for compatibility), but it runs games surprisingly well for it being a fanless ARM-based laptop.

Great quality product!
I love it! Way better than my 2015 Macbook Pro. It's super fast, light, and easy to use. I initially bought this before starting my masters degree, but ended up using it for video editing and CAD work as well. If you're looking for a Mac for video editing, definitely do some research (youtube reviews) before buying. This can do some great work with a single input for video editing but maybe not so much with more than one camera or overlay. Cooling doesn't seem too too bad. Design is great, of course I'm a little biased. Connectivity is about par (I have an iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV, iPad, Mac Mini, and now this Macbook Air). Value of the computer when I bought it was great, before the prices went up recently. Screen size is perfect for me.

Very good
I recently purchased the Apple MacBook Air M4, and I am very pleased with both its price and quality. The laptop offers excellent performance thanks to the powerful M4 chip, which enhances graphics and overall speed, making everyday tasks and even some professional applications run smoothly. Despite being lightweight and slim, it does not compromise on power or build quality. The MacBook Air M4 is a refined version of an already excellent design, focusing on strategic improvements rather than a complete overhaul. This makes it a reliable and efficient choice for users who want a balance between portability and performance. Additionally, the price point is very reasonable considering the features and capabilities it offers, making it a great value for money. Overall, I highly recommend the MacBook Air M4 to anyone looking for a high-quality, powerful, and affordable laptop that can handle both work and leisure with ease.

No regrets with this macbook
I had a 2014 Macbook Pro and although it still worked great was no longer getting updates. I also wanted to get a Mac that had the M processors but had decided that I wouldn't go with a big screen like last time. I wanted something relatively light. I also wasn't going to spend as much money as last time either. The Macbook Air M4 fit the bill perfectly. I'm using it now for this review. I bought it for $1,049 and I see it's cheaper now but I still have no regrets. Pros: 1) This thing is fast! I had built my latest PC with the best components and I'm still finding myself docking this and using it instead 2) All of the creative software just seems to work better on this Mac. 3) This is the perfect size for portability. I was a little concerned that the screen might be too small given my eyesight but it wasn't a problem. Screen quality is good and I have no issues there. 4) Battery life is very good. I'm usually not doing anything power-intensive when I'm just using it as a laptop but I can generally go about a day periodically using it and not have any issues. 5) The keyboard is great - not too crowded and the backlighting is good. 6) Finally, the base model has 16GB instead of 8GB. I don't know why Apple insisted that 8GB was enough in 2025 - memory is pretty cheap and 16GB is pretty much the minimal you need now a days. Cons 1) This is true for all modern macbooks, but you have to absolutely get what you need when you buy it. It's not upgradeable. You can do some things like get a thuderbolt 4/5 ssd enclosure for storage but you have to nail down the amount of RAM you want. However, as I mentioned above the default RAM is 16 GB and that's good enough for most people. 2) The magsafe connector is great but it does seem to come off a little too easily. It's a minor gripe at best. Overall just a great laptop - I'm very happy with it.

My Second One in 10 Years! I Love It!
I love my new MacBook Air! I finally had to replace my old one after 10 years of constant use! If I could have located an oem battery, I would have kept it even longer! But this new one is even better in size, weight, and quality! I love the look and how reliable it is! They are SO durable! Connects to wifi easily. Battery lasts days! It works okay for certain games, but I cannot recommend for all gaming. Perfect for work and school!

The best laptop for everyone
The best laptop for most of the people, great battery life, powerful even without plug in, good build quality, the downside is the amount of ports if you don’t have an adapter

Amazing Laptop!
I upgraded from my previous M2 and the M4 definitely is a totally new level of computer compared to my older MacBook. Anything I use loads almost instantly and the system runs multiple process without any issues at all. It's also extremely quiet no matter how many tasks I have open. I'm able to use this computer throughout the entire day. The screen quality is also amazing and I really love this Midnight color :D. Only reason for the 4 stars is there isn't enough ports for my liking, and I feel like just having two isn't enough.

Jobs's 1K$ dream-computer!
Have always been sceptical about Apple's overpriced hardware and crippled software. However, the ARM revolution that Apple had started couldn't go by unnoticed. Bought it as a toy to do things on the go, just because it's so power-efficient, but was very surprised to learn that this was a pretty serious workhorse machine. Obviously, you don't buy an ultrabook to use it as a workstation, but even at base specs, this laptop can handle power-hungry creative tasks. Apple tends to criple its software, so the user experience of the OS itself is questionable, but, probably, it's a matter of habit. It's not terrible, but it often requires tweaking and additional apps to do basic things around the system. Build quality is amazing. All other laptops feel like cheap garbage compared to the CNC aluminum chassis.

Just amazing
I switched from Windows to a MacBook Pro about a year ago and honestly never looked back. I’ve been a Windows guy forever — since 3.1 through 11, even got my MCSE and used to be the “Windows expert” in my circle. But lugging around my heavy MSI gaming laptops (amazing machines, but bricks) finally pushed me to try a Mac for the weight and battery life. That was it. For a whole year I didn’t even touch my Windows laptop. I only powered it up recently to check some old files, and wow… what a painful experience. Booting up, waiting, random slowdowns just to open things — even shutting it down took too long. Meanwhile, on my Mac I just close the lid, open it later, and boom — instant. My once-loved MSI with an RTX 2080 and 64GB RAM is literally collecting dust now. I’m no Mac expert — still I’m Googling or asking ChatGPT how to do stuff sometimes — but once I figure something out, it’s just so smooth. My daughter wanted a Windows laptop for college (because that’s what she was used to), but I convinced her to give Mac a shot. Got her the new M4 Air, and even though she’s still learning, she’s already amazed
