I have been sewing since I was a kid, always using thread brands readily available at our local fabric store for garment construction and other fabric-related craft and art projects. I recently read several recommendations by quilters who were vehement about there being a big difference. They were right. This thread, compared to the standard fabric stores, is like the difference between a Mercedes and a Toyota. Both fine, but one outstanding. Seams lay better, there has been no problem with thread breaking or leaving fine fibrous dust inside the bobbin area or around the eye of the needle. I haven't used the other colours, relying on this one as my neutral for a colourful sewing project. It blends beautifully. I'm order more immediately and donating the old thread.
