Can a ryobi 6 ah battery be used in a 4ah mower and a 4ah charger?

The charger that comes with this 4ah battery does not work with my 6ah battery. It flashes red to show a fault. I have a 6ah battery that came with my mower. I bought this 4ah battery as a secondary to be able to finish the lawn in one session.

Use the charger that came with the battery. When all else fails, read the directions.

Will this work on my Ryobi snowblower?

If your snowblower uses a 40V battery it will work. Though note the ah of the battery in your snow blower. The higher the ah means less recharging during jobs.
